Unfortunately, I have to have way, way, way, small bits. I pulled out...hmmmm...at least 10 1.5mm screws from a phone yesterday. They are so tiny that if you blink while unscrewing you miss the whole event.

finally managed to get my new bikini before the mall closed for the evening. Now I can go to the beach or at the lake again!

I just attended the viewing of one of our employees: a 28 yr-old young man, father of two little girls, who was shot and killed early on Father's Day. Everyone loved him - he was easy going, happy, funny. Funeral home was packed. Tight-knit Puerto Rican community. His fiance was nearly lifeless from grief as was his mother. A 22 yr-old picked a fight with someone he was with as they were leaving a club. Pablo tried to diffuse the fight. The 22 yr-old shot him, once, twice & Pablo fell. Then the shooter shot him twice more in the back. Because of an argument.

You walk out of the funeral home with tears in your eyes saying "Why?"

So I'm running a 5 mile race this weekend. When I'd signed up - it was fast and furious, so all I had really noticed was the 5. In Canada, 99% of races that start with a 5 are 5Km. Apparently this is not the case here.

Thus I am running 5 miles Saturday lol. It's in Central Park, and I'm soooo looking forward to it. Just spent 2 hours walking through the park this evening, watching the sunset, the people running and cycling and those folks coming to Shakespeare in the Park.

Such a lovely place.
