LOL, hey you only live once, if you find someone that loves and cares for you as a partner on this journey, then that is what its all about.

That is why I always feel a warm tingle when I see elderly couples walking together and holding hands. I often wonder what is their life story, what journeys have they taken together.

Everyone, everywhere, has unrealistic expectations. Especially in america. If people were really happy with what they had..there would be a lot less push for consumerism and general friendliness all around.

As far as what men and women want in each other? Pshaawwww...

When I find a man who meets every last one of my expectations I will turn my pushing 40 ass into that of a Victoria secrets model.

Me too. I wonder if they've been together for decades or just found love in later life. I just hope me and my man are as soppy together in our old age as we are with each other now.

I don't think my expectations are unrealistic. I wanted a lover that could lift me over his head (all 180 lbs of me) and I found him... 6'6" tall, dark, handsome, 265 lbs, ex-athlete, and he is 7 years younger than me... and can cook...

That's just one of the three. They are all amazing in their own right. I am not about the bankroll - wish I were, but it's more about passion for me.
