I agree with you...........no matter what happens those things stay a lifetime. You are in your formative years and some pervert takes away your innocence and your outlook i life is forever changed. Doing things to a child is so different then doing the same to an adult.

This case makes me think of a good example of how punishment for the perpetrator doesn't wipe it way. This man waited nearly 40 years and still had hatred and rage. And then he acted on it. I would have a hard time convicting him based on what was done to him as a child. I would chalk it up to temp insanity.
