    Afghanistan and Pakistan are two countries that can make any Western woman irritated beyond being forced to wear garments to accomodate their culture. It take toughness to tolerate massive male chuvenism.

    I don't disagree, but the problem is a lot more than Chauvinism. Something far more sinister.

    From what you said S23,it does sound more scary for Western woman in those two lands. For the female US or EU soldier such sinister forces are indeed deadly.

    You've been to Kinshasa? Wow, that is great. I've moved there from LA in december 2010. I have American citizenship, but I am originally from there.

    You moved from LA back to Kinshasa? Wow- this is rare. I find that great!! :smt023 All the people I know, that were studying/living in US or Europe, stayed outside of their african country, just come to visit their families from time to time..

    I am in the US now since May 30th tough. I will not be back to Kinshasa until August 9th. It's a pity. It would have been nice to meet a member of the board.
