apples to oranges.....there are alot more opportunities for white coaches than blacks. like how many black coaches have there been in the sec.
This is kinda like women's college basketball where there is a huge spike in the hiring of male head coaches at the expense of female coaches. Meanwhile female coaches are not getting ANY jobs at all in men's college basketball, not even as assistants. Oh, and virtually all the males getting those head coaching are white men. The newly hired head coach of the women's Indiana Hoosiers team, a white guy, sheepishly conceded it was the year of the white male as far as head coaching hirings. I'll give that guy some slack because he felt somewhat guilty about the situation, but I have to laugh because when it is ever not the "year of the white male?"
