http://blog.sfgate.com/dailydish/2012/06/04/gwyneth-paltrow-defends-use-of-‘n’-word-in-song-title/ Gwyneth Paltrow defends use of ‘N’ word in song title.. are we too sensitive
it's the title of the song if anyone should be hung out to dry, it should be JayZ and the rest of those douchebags who label songs like that but of course you know, there's a huge portion of the black community who'll give him a pass and continue to blame a white woman, for tweeting the song title idiots
James, Instead of acknowledging the truth in what Petty is saying, you prefer taking the cheap shot......What the hell evidence do you have that she says it 100 times every morning.....She is probably lampooning how we address one another........
It's just a joke from Paul Mooney. That's why I posted the picture of him. I personally don't care if she says it or not.
pic doesnt show and i do love paul mooney :smt004 i still think people are blowing this out of proportion tho

I don't think she was being malicious, but since that word is of a sensitive nature, she shouldn't have used it, even though it's the title of the song. Maybe she could've used Bruthas in Paris or something else.
i think this is funny it's the title of a song and all..but yeah, ud think she'd have more common sense than to let out a tweet like that, with the current racial atmosphere around that's what happens when people start getting too comfortable jayz and beyonce probably don't give two shits..hell, jigga probably laughed when he heard about this.....but their disposition doesn't reflect the nation at large

anything racial is news....all the major sites are getting hit up like crazy, so you know they're going to run with it
I agree, but because it's the title of the song, you can't get around it. When you mention the title, and being a non-black person, you're inadvertently using it, even though that's not your intention. Like you said, she definitely didn't use good judgment and she hasn't apologized or explained herself, so it makes it worse.
Didn't really find it offensive although I thought it would have shown more common sense for her not to say it. If anything I found: more offensive. Well intentioned or not.
