Actually it was my life insurance policy not my health insurance that increased because of the horses. That being said, again Jordan, my only point was that the lifestyle and choices of others can have very real impacts on others. It is not my stance that one person should be able to dictate to another how to live their life. That being said, I do support efforts to encourage/educate/promote healthy living habits and choices and the benefits therein to all society. I believe the whole "fat acceptance" movement and other agendas promoting unhealthy lifestyles to be a detriment to society that we all pay for.

I never said you shouldn't care I'm just saying no employee in their right mind would question that shit. It's an easy way to find yourself out of a job especially in a small business environment.

When I say you I mean all employers and others trying to dictate....not "you", loki. I am sure you would be awesome to work for. Just so you know.

I like, no, LOVE cake, especially marble cake with vanilla icing. That being said it is a very OCCASIONAL treat, usually a reward after a great workout, I would never ask anyone to give up cake, bite your tongue!

Not to mention flat out lies. Its one thing to be slightly overweight but to be plainly obese(and that's who is usually singing the fat and I'm proud anthem) and make believe that there aren't deep consequences is flat out lying.

Most kind, thanks Jordan. Actually I do pick up the entire cost of healthcare for my staff, I know that kind of a plan is rare nowadays, usually the costs are split according to a percentage, or the employee pays for it all. This is why I am so nuts about the costs, I find offering free healthcare (well almost free, they still have to pay the deductibles, and office visit fees) is a competitive advantage for me in attracting the right personnel.

I would not give up my horses for ANY reason, amazing stress relief and life companions.

I been 'big' all my life, don't think allot about it nor do I let being 'fat' get me down. Haha!!! I hold my own, regardless what Western culture thinks, I'll be just fine.

I've learned in my late teens, this is what God gave me. Don't be fooled, there's big or 'fat' people with put you in your place. Being big is not all that bad. the ladies love to cling to you...

As much as I like too think being 'skinny', there's advantages being a little chubby.:p The media and insurance companies bitch on the wire how being fat is dangerous, it's okay... In the South Pacific, I'm a God!!!

Ramble all you want, today's food and food choices really plays a big role in our diets. For example, when I cut soy out of my diet. The stuff is on in everything, my waistline has sent down one pants size. Getting the right food and nutrition has become somewhat trivial.

Eating healthy is that demon that sits inside your wallet when you go to the checkout line, a juicy grapefruit cost more than the dollar menu items everybody live on & don't say they do... Once you understand the right food choices for you, I think obesity can be controlled.

An estrogenic diet will not dictate my life, I'm on to it.... watch what you eat....

This guy has the RIGHT attitude!! If I moved to Jamaica or Trinidad/St. Vincents, I'd be a goddess too... Human survival does not like unhealthy genes... attraction across a culture is a testimony to the survival of the community.

North America started the whole unhealthy skinny craze. People have been starving for extra body weight all over the world...and look at America, with the most processed/fast foods, including those that are supposed to be "fat-free", YET look at the lot of them. FAT to an EXTREME. There is something seriously wrong with this picture.

North America also has an unhealthy work schedule, and unhealthy attitude toward life with such a high rate of abortion. This country does not value life. IMHO - or at least what they are trying to push on us. We have to fight back. A little bit of fat is about fertility and wellbeing.

Umm as the resident Jamaican on this forum I can tell you right now you'd be desired because of your American citizenship and possibly your skin tone. Most Jamaican women aren't big boned. They're very height weight proportioned. They may carry their weight in their thighs and boobs but if they stepped on a scale they'd be with in the range for their height.
And trust this you would not be a goddess down in the Caribbean. Possibly a highly used sex toy but dudes wouldn't falling all over themselves to wife. Quite frankly that's not really part of the culture.

    Need more fat threads IMO

They do a better job at bringing people together than the fitness threads

The native (read: NATIVE) guy I am seeing from St. Vincent's, would argue with you. You are hardly a Jamaican. You've seen my picture. I would be a prize for gorgeous black men wherever I go. I am, here in Kentucky, and I would have to have 3 cell phones for all of the numbers of the GORGEOUS men in the Caribbean who would want to be with me. My weight is perfect for my height and has black men running to me. I am known amongst his friends as "the sexy white lady". Also he smiles, admires me, we talk for hours, and have a wonderful time. I'll take that over your brand of bitterness any day.

Incidentally, he is an American citizen and his job pays WAY more than mine. LOL!!

You STILL don't understand the meaning of "height-weight proportioned". Sometimes I wonder if you are mentally challenged.

Anyway, I have a man in my bed right now and he needs attention (not the Caribbean man)... :smt006

Incidentally, hun... "big boned" actually means having big bones. You are really dense, poor thing.

    How noble of you.

But you validated my point. Or do you think you’re the only one who feels/acts that way? At least one guy on here (and I have to think there are more) says that if a woman doesn't make a certain part of his anatomy stand up and pay attention, he won’t sleep with her.

While it may be true that a guy will sleep with anything that moves (and that’s a pretty big category…), let me have my fantasy that most guys have evolved further than that.
