Damn, that ass is hella sweet. This would likely be the last straw for black women if white chicks start getting acknowledged in Hip Hop at the level of a Nikki Minaj/Rihanna, etc. I don't think too many sisters could deal with that happening. Lot of bitterness would be shouted out, already is happening. Already saw another female rapper from Harlem hating on Iggy because she was acknowledged as a legit up and coming talent in the industry. The first ever female to have that honor. The way I look at it you either have the talent or you don't. When Eminem came on the scene I didn't hate the dude for being white, then yet again I'm not a big time hip hop head, but the dude had talent and made it work, unlike Vanilla Ice. Not to mention its good business sense since most of the people copping CD's are white suburban kids around the world when it comes to dollars and cents.
It's hard for a foreign export to make it big in American hip hop. Drake is the exception. I think she's a fad who will get play in mags for a minute because she's eye candy, but there isn't anyone I'm dropping from my music list to make room for Iggy.
You never know man, once in a while someone comes along and breaks the mold of what is to be expected. Look at Eminem. Look at Tiger in Golf, a sport that was the bastion of while males in its history. You never know when that next big thing might arrive on the scene. If they have the talent it will eventually rise to the surface.
