Our Art - Show off your work!

I've been having a wonderful week. And to end this pleasant week, I wanted to show off the beginnings of a new painting I started today. I couldn't figure out where to put it so I started a new thread for everyone to add their own artwork to.
I'll post my finished painting when it's done (WIP shots will probably end up on facebook -as did this image-LOL).
It doesn't have a title, but it's of three Ibis (or is it Ibises?)...an Australian White, a Scarlet and a Kenyan (Hadada). The Kenyan one has yet to be started, but I should breathe some life into him tomorrow.
The feet look unfinished and dodgy because they wont' be in the painting. There is tape along the bottome which will be pealed off at the end (this is acrylic on canvas sheet) and I'll be adding grass at the bottom.

 

It looks great sin. I wish i was artistic.

Thanks so much everyone. I'm really proud of it so far. I'll be running off to my art class in half an hour to do some more work on it.
GQ - Yep, I'm an artist. I have one of my paintings in an exhibition right now and another of mine finished at another exhibition a few weeks ago. I love it. I wish I could do it all day everyday.

Thought I'd add an update. It's kind of at the ugly stage, but it'll get through that nicely and I can actually see it coming out the other end looking pretty good.
