Going to ATL- suggestions?

Hi all!

I will be in Atlanta in mid-July for a school related thing. I'll be free in the evenings after 5pm, and I'll only be there from Thursday-Sunday. Any good suggestions for what to do in the evenings when I'm free?

I'll be staying in downtown ATL, so I guess I'm close to everything, right?

Nah childhood friends are having a Christening for their kid. I wanted to just send a check but apparently thays rude if you already missed the wedding lol.

Had to do that for Accounting the first week of the program in Stotrs, CT.
Good luck that shit is pretty muxh all day work.

 

Yup, I know...it's 8-5. That's why I'm hoping to get out afterwards, even if it's just to a cool local joint where there's some music playing and I can have a glass of wine.

 

How long is your program?

 

5 years, assuming the dissertation only takes me 2.5 years to write. I have up to 7 years...and I have three more colloquia that I have to attend.
