These cops look like a bunch of pussies.
First this kid is HIT by a squad car, thrown up in the air and falls limp to the ground. Then the 'brave 5-0' in a mob move roll up on his kid and start beating and kicking him. Just a scrawny little kid, and these officers of the law are thumping him like he's gonna rise up and go Hulk on their asses.

Too many times it looks like some cops are fucking afraid of their own shadow and aren't psychologically equipped to have direct contact with average citizens OR potential criminals.

Being the Son of Gumby doesn't mean cops should get a pass on beating up a suspect like that, AFTER slamming their cruiser into him.

THe fact that he wasn't 'injured', you ask that kid if he was hurting after that beating, is a miracle IMO.

 

The guy is beaten mercilessly by cops and whether he was wrong or not he didn't deserve this beating.

The only thing I can come up with to explain situations like that is that the cops are so high on adrenaline that they release the pent-up energy on the perp. I'm sure others will have a different explanation...

 

I have a friend that worked in HPD over in hnl for a long time. He said that the domestics (and this might not be true everywhere..but the premise is the same) are hands down the most dangerous calls the po po can go on over here. Be cause of the high likely hood of injury of the 50 they would have to go psyched..mentally prepared for an actual struggle even if one didn't occur. He witnessed many times where a pretty non threatening perp was dealt with using excessive force. Because of the hormones and the FEAR the police had of being injured in the line of duty.

I don't know what this particular beating was about whether assholeishness or fear or fight or flight. But when you have high emotions and people in a supreme state of authority..much can go wrong very quickly.

 

I gotta tell you i have seen this video over 20 times or more and not only Bloomberg should be on trial quite a few more than the 4...He won his case but they hit this guy with the car and more than 4 cops whoop his ass they stomp and kicked him after he was hit by the car, after submission with his hands over his head face down on the ground...the juries verdict was some.....BULLSHIT!! check it out.....NOT GUILTY?

If cops had reasonable cause to arrest him, arrest him. But as petty stated, what they did to that kid was not standard operating procedure.
