If I'm pro-black and I like white women, does that make me a hypocrite?

Your question implies that if one is pro-black, he must, in turn, be anti-white.

To answer your question: If one is not anti-white, there is no hypocrisy to be found if he likes white women. If one is anti-white, then, yes, it would be hypocritical.

I think it would ultimately depend on how you define it. Regardless of who you are married to you can still have pride in your race, ethnicity, and culture. You can still help contribute to your races community.

However some would argue that a multicultural community is not the same thus making the mono cultural community weaker. That your contributions to community aren't just in your racial community.

Pretty much. A co-worker of mine (pro-black woman) identifies herself as pro-black, yet sees interracial relationships as just a human thing. And actually encourages love knowing no boundaries.

From what she told me, to be pro-black, the following must be implied:

    1. The willingness to support black-owned businesses.
    2. Date and marry black exclusively.
    3. Take part in knowing the history and heritage of African-American and African cultures.
    4. Embrace your identity and encourage others to know more about, irregardless of one's background.

Too easy. You can be pro black (support the black community, etc) AND also be pro interracial dating. Nothing wrong with that at all in my book.

    I agree with this ^

It just means you're FOR your people.

Now the Black Separatists/Nationalists, NOI and the Black Israelites, might think otherwise...lol

    "Pro White"

People should read some of the new studies out on psycholosocial development and the connection of race. The idea of, or rather an orientation towards whiteness is owning that whiteness as a phase in resolving issues related to race and power; resolving perceptions about race; how to effectively resolve recognizing the humanity in others not considered white in the white race. Being white is not necessary a bad or good thing, as are different definitions of "black." It is how you recognize your position as a member of the dominate society and class within that society.

    What

I would like to know, what is a Black Israelite. Is it an attempt to Africanize the genetically Asiatic people of the lands located North of the continent of Africa? Or is it an attempt to reconstruct the belief system of the Hebrew people and pronounce them as genetically African?

I am pro-black and was raised in a very pro-black household. But, as my father taught me, being pro-black doesn't mean you have to be anti-anything else. To do so, to allow yourself to be so, makes you as weak as those who seek to oppress and belittle us.
