Have a voice box on the front of your door. I noticed that apartment complexes have those. That way somebody pushes a button and then you have to respond through the box to a person standing outside.

 

He has a few words about you getting irritated, especially when HE comes knocking on your door.

I'm often on my second flr, so I'm usually getting dressed as I come down the stairs to see who it is...
but my front door while it has a peep hole, also has like these little arched windows up top, and if the person is over 6ft, they can see me getting dressed as I come down. :-o

Crawfish and Household Pests

Everyone love these little suckers during this time of year. Any southerner with a voracious seafood appetite would munch on these little critters like nobody's business. And what am I talking about? Well, none other than the succulent crawfish.

Now, would you all believe that they happen to have a cousin of the insect persuasion? Some of you may not care much, until I mention the name. You see, crawfish and this mysterious insect are distantly related, as they belong in the same phylum. Now, having said that, the creature in which the crawfish is related to is none other than the cockroach!
