Great videos!! It's difficult to explain the life and the possibilities in african countries... your vids show it fantastically
Hmm......On the one hand I'm happy to see Brothers and Sisters achieving good things, and giving back to a country of great need. But on the other hand, America is in desperate need for Black leaders and entrepreneurs as well, and what's that old saying? "charity starts at home". Also, I wonder what the average Black South African thinks about Black Americans taking positions of prominence in their country?
I have seen this twice. One time a few years ago and it was on fairly recently. It was very good. I really liked it.
i really enjoyed that. Thank you so much for posting. It was informative and very inspiring. For years I have wondered why more wealthy African Americans didn't invest money there. Its such a mutually beneficial opportunity. Their ignorance can be my gain. Thanks agian Naijia
Christine, I am not sure many sensitive Africans would take kindly to some of your comments. Increasingly, I have come to notice a pattern of provocative condescension when it comes to Africa or its affairs. On this thread, I posted something to do with South Africa, but somehow your tender self and magnanimous spirit has expanded the scope of discussion into an African bazaar. Please quit this fussy sentimentality and learn to treat Africans, not as little children, but human beings who are not different from human beings in other parts of the world.
Why? I can just tell you, what I've experienced. I am not talking about imaginations, I talk about experiences in Africa, with Africans. Africans aren't kids, how can you get my words like that? They are searching for help, especially knowledge and investments-is that wrong? What I've observed was that they feel sometimes humiliated by Europeans or Americans (and whenever I travel - the planes and hotels are full of them)- but they don't say anything..that's what I've meant with "silent". BTW- I travel and work with Africans, have African partners in their country and in mine since nearly a decade, please don't tell me I treat them different or even worse than people in Europe, you need to understand, we trust and appreciate each other..but anyway you can have your opinion as I have mine.
