Nice one Tam! I learned this one the hard way for real!!! It is my ignorance from 30 years ago that is slowing me from being where I want to be today. I know better now so it will not stop me from reaching my goal.

Thanks, Jay. I've had some tough less myself that threw me off course in my life, but since I actually learned something it made me stronger and better suited to reach my goals and made me appreciate life more.

What's sad is when we think we have it all figured out and don't have anything to learn, especially if we learn nothing from life's tough lessons, that we deny ourselves access to wisdom. It's when we think we know it all that we don't know shit.

That quote always makes me think of a young man who was very special to me who died many years ago. I still miss him. :(

Yeah, it's one of the many pearls of southern wisdom, lol. ;)

Why can't we love the right people? What is so wrong with us that we rush into situations to which we are manifestly unsuited, which will hurt us and others? Why are we given emotions which we cannot control and which move in exact contradiction to what we really want?
We are walking conflicts, internal battles on legs.
