Sports

How do the fellas feel when the woman in their life doesn't care about/follow the same sports (if any) that you do? e.g. you're a huge soccer fan and she couldn't care less about the sport. Is this an issue at any level? Thanks!

 

Not a big deal to me

I like my nfl network to death (it's the only station I watch regularly), but I'd accept a person even if they didn't like football

I couldn't care less. It's not like I'm recruiting her for my squad or something. My only concern would be that she enjoys and participates in at least some form of physical exercise. No couch potatoes for me, no matter how glamorous.

Watching sports is just a bore to me. I never understood how anyone could sit on their ass, watching waxed, muscular men play grab ass with one another, throwing, kicking, and grabbing their balls and call it entertainment?

 

You got a point there, dude. I never watch sports, but yeah....

watching sports really is boring. -__-" I'd rather go run around than sit on my white ass and glare at the tv with hockey (for instance).

Of course, it's just my opinoin.

 

LOL - I both watch and play the sports I like, so watching them doesn't seem as boring to me, but I have noticed that I cannot bear watching sports that I don't play myself.

 

When you put it that way, I might have to start watching more sports.
Thanks for your input everyone. I was just curious. The sports that I participate in are not huge commercial entertainment ventures so I'd never force my man to sit and watch them with me....

I like watching sports (except basketball unless I'm with a guy who is really into it - then I'll watch with him). Definitely more of a football fan than anything else.

Now here's one but different than Athena's but you can answer it in the same breath....Guys, would you like your woman to watch sports with you or is it just a "guy thing?" A guy I dated wouldn't want me watching sports with him and his friends, even if other ladies were there. He felt like we should be off doing girl things while "the boys" watched sports.

 

Great question! My ex didn't like me watching with him because I always would end up mauling and molesting him which interrupted the game ahahahah.

I don't mind playing sports since it's a good physical activity.
