Dating Shows with BM/WW IR

I so agree. I have been wondering and waiting for the day they had a Black Man as the Bachelor. Not like there are aren't rich, successful and handsome guys who fit the bill, or a lack of women who desire them.

OTOH, if you're on that show, everyone and everything is magnified. I think they just think M/S America isn't ready to see A Black Man have a plethora of BW/ WW/AW/HW fawn and fight over him...and then depending on who he chooses each week, I'd imagine there would be racial overtones playing out on the blogosphere, rather than romantic one.

 

How about black folks stop trying to get on reality tv shows all together.

The Bachelor isn't really reality TV like those other trash shows anyway - the show is so luxuriously orchestrated, makes you famous(not infamous), and people get paid good.

 

I don't have a solution, but I'd rather see black actors on tv instead of real life morons on tv.

I've never watched the bachelor, but what about those other reality shows like Flav's show and Ray J's show? All those shows take place in mansions and try to portray the high class vibe. The only difference I see is that the Bachelor probably isn't cast with hoodrats and the cast doesn't get shit on as much by the viewers.

The Bachelor is on quality par with Dancing With The Stars. All out huge production. He's usually all 3: educated/Rich-successful/handsome. Chicks are usually much higher grade. Still, an opportunity to represent, highlight and elevate the BM to romance icon status is always a good thing, I think. There's lots of BM out there like his kind who are underexposed in the media.

Didnt we figure out the solution when our own publications were created over 60 years ago. Ebony, Jet, etc... I say start your own Bachelor show. Keep it classy and include different ethnic groups.

We had a black bachelor show...two to be exact...with Chad "Ochocinco" and Flava Flav....and they both fucking sucked ass.

There is an article on CNN about black dating shows in general and I think its complete BS. The only thing I could express wrong is the quality of black based dating shows. Ocho Cinco and Flava Flav (the former being a tad better) were kind of low grade if you ask me. The only really cool black reality dating show I actually liked was 'For the Love of Ray J', just because it was very believable. You can ask any woman about Flava Flav and they will say fuck no, ask any woman about Ray J and they say fuck yes haha. In my opinion, the bachelor is a dumb show to begin with and its just reality TV- which means its as real as professional wrestling lol.
