I hope they throw lawsuits at ABC until they run out of legal fees.

Still won't change a damn thing but going to court is always a good time.

Lol I know you have your type but I think I speak for a lot of black dudes when I say there are more to us than just jocks.
There are good looking accountants, engineers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and all kinds of other professions amongst us.

I agree there are other BM out there, but I just didn't see how having an athlete, especially like Lamar, was a bad thing....

    LOL @ my type part

I don't think its bad at all would just like to see more Neil Degrace Tysons and less Kobes out there for a change. It would help shed some of the negative stereotypes, like ww only going for rich athletic bm. The more variations of us out there the easier normalization will be.
Obama did amazing things for the black nerd movement would just like to see more of us out there.

Woman we all know your type. Thinner muscular athletic types with lots of veins duh lol

As a Bachelor viewer for many years I will tell you what I highlighted is the professional WM type they've have had. Only ever had one athlete and he was a back-up QB for the NY Giants.

I'd be quite surprised if they went with an athlete for their first BM man.

Funny that you say that. I went to a bday party for one of the other Giants back in 2004 and that fucker Jessie Palmer was eating up the fame like a fat kid in a candy store. It was a little sad. One of the best nights of my life. I got to hang out with Sway from MTV. They had moving body art and the place was packed with beautiful semi famous people. Damn you took me back Kuno

TDK, Like I stated earlier why should we beg the main stream media to put black folks in their shows. we can be successful in doing our own versions. hell, TV1 has the rip off of behind the music with unsung. unsung is hot. love the show. why can we have ebony love search or something of the like

Ditto. The executives are more worried about keeping money in their pockets as opposed to being fair and include all walks of life.

I do understand TDK's plight, however since we're in the 21st century. But I guess the attitudes would reflect viewership.

Because its long over due for blacks to be in the overall mainstream entertaiment. Black only stations suck and just like we dont live in a white only eorld we dont live in a black only world either. Monoracial programming borrs me

Good point. If we're going to emphasize that we're a melting pot, at least show it on the entertainment circles. Then again, it doesn't have to be a monoracial program. Just create another show with a different them...like Swirl Train.

But I suppose such a theme would just reinforce some level of segregation. Sucks to be frank....

I can see what you are saying but the black only stations such as TV1 is doing a decent job on getting better shows such as unsung. the just need to boot that show with tatyana ali its trash. bets the game (formerly of another station) is decent and lets stay together is ok. the thing is the production cost (good scripts especially) is high. the problem is with some shows are they are stuck in elementary jokes and plots that were going on in the 70s

I was thinking the same thing after I got in my car after posting my statement. you must have picked my mind on that. LOL

I know... if I were a woman with low self esteem, I would totally throw myself into a contest gagging over one particular man. He's better than the other bachelors, but never in a million years would I be trying to sell myself to him - or ANY of them.

Anyway the two guys I'm seeing are way hotter... as far as bankroll I am not materialistic like that.
