Uhhhh broken homes & absent fathers are a much bigger problem in the black community. Sorry that you don't want to realize that smdh

I think the interesting part of the "absentee father" agenda is that over 71% of black men pay child support. So, the "absentee" part is in reference to court decisions more so than a dead beat dad. Would you like to know the statistic for bw who have multiple children with multiple fathers (since we are discussing the black community)?

I agree that we have an absentee father issue in the black community. I also agree that we have a higher rate. Yet, that doesn't put the blame soley on the men.

71.6% of Black Men pay their agreed to or Court Awarded Child Support (U.S. Census Bureau, Child Support Payments Agreed to or Awarded Custodial Parents by Selected Characteristics and Sex: 2007)

    In addition...

59% of African American women with multiple children had multiple fathers (National Longitudinal Survey of Youth: University of Michigan Institute for Social Research. Date of publication unavailable).

As I said, I agree that it is a big problem, but not necessarily due to dead beat dads.

sure...what stats will not tell you is of how many men have been alienated? will they? why are you avoiding what I stated about that?

I am sorry, I hadn't read your previous statement. I do agree with you. And that was kind of my point although I was hoping that everyone else might come to that conclusion. If the stats tell you that over two thirds pay their child support meanwhile, almost two thirds are having multiple children with multiple fathers, you begin to wonder if the issue of the absentee father is a part of the judicial system keeping the father out of the picture and or the women who are endorsing that judicial decision. I made a post about it months ago.

no doubt but the problem is that there are laws to force a woman to let the man see the kids. the problem is the cost to fite it. here in bama its about 2500 for a retainer and its anywhere from125 and up per hour to fite the case with a lawyer. so if he read an email and it takes him 5 minutes to read it he charges you 15/60 minutes times 125. then you call him with info and it takes him 5 minutes to talk to you another 15/60 *125 or he talks to the mother for 5 min and so on. then here bama they charge 1000 to show up in court on top of the other shit That shit adds up fast. dont forget you cant be late for child support on top of the other shit.

so what happens is a guy like pookie who wants to see his kids cant afford to fite her. she knows that.

what pookie dont know is.... he dont have to have an atty

what atty's (especially women atty) dont tell the dude is that he can force the mom to reimburse him for the money and charge her with contempt of court and have her thrown in jail. (never ever get a black woman atty to rep you in this kind of shit. they will fuck u)
