But then you make assertion that their behavior will make it hard for black people in general to claim racism because of their actions. Crime like that is fucked up but I don't worry about it because we have a police system. If and when they are caught they won't escape justice.
And when I say it doesn't concern more to the point I don't think I should have to take responsibility for their actions as you suggested by saying their actions will make it harder for black people to claim racism when a totally different incident takes place.

Bottom line its fucked up what they did the tone of this thread and trying to link it to racial bias is bs.
But its clear we think differently on this so we can agree to disagree my friend
    Cheers

So if we switched the racial dynamic and it was a mob of white kids stomping some random Black guy, THAT would be racist??

But since it's the misguided youth of the 'hood who don't know any better beating up a WM who put himself in harm's way, that's just coincidental??

TDK, your rationalization and excuse making is racist, IMO.

You ask any one of those kids in private why they beat that dude down FOR NO REASON since it's not like they were an organized criminal operation, and IMO 3/4 of them will say because he was White.

    That attack was spontaneous.

We have something in D.C. called 'wilding' were a group of Black kids will target a commuter on the Metro, punch them in the face and only sometimes rob them of their smartphone/ipad/ipod.

Almost every single one of these assaults have been Black on White. There are thousands of Black professionals of every race who ride the Metro everyday who are 'easy' marks, (the 'Urkels' are living large in D.C.!!lol) but for some reason these kids gravitate towards White victims.

Yes theft at times is a motivator, by ask yourself what makes a Black kid simply haul off and punch some White dude on his way home from his job at the Dept. of Agriculture and not ROB HIM??

There's a racial component to this shit, and to argue there isn't is being naive and passively bigoted IMO.

When you're Black and poor, it's very easy to personify a whole lot of things you want or feel you've been denied in the race of someone who's perceived as the 'other'.

That doesn't make you racist, but it's very easy to turn that resentment and envy into hostility.

Hmmmm, methinks your history is skewered. I help.

In simple English: "Irish were valued less than black slaves."

    Case closed.

So for the record youre saying the Irish have had it worst in this country than black people? Just make it clear for me

From a very historical perspective based on the early arrival in the 1800s, yes they have faced some heavy discrimination and even did menial jobs that black slaves weren't allowed to do because black slaves were "valued" higher.

So yes, at one point in history, they've had it pretty bad, even worse than black slaves.

    1. You ignore the historical context of this country. I have yet to hear of any siuation where a group of whites attacked a black person and it wasnt a racially motivated attack. Its the legacy of this country. Not saying it could never happen but history suggests otherwise.

    2. Black on white crime is usually robbery. Simple logic those with most are most in danger of having it taken away. Again not saying it can never be racially motivated but more often than not it aint.

    3. We have wildin out up here too and basically I think they fuck with more white people because there are 5 times the amount of white people so a five times more liklihood of running into them. No to mention theres a good chance they might think they have a higher risk if running into the black people again considering its possible they might be from the same area. Attacking whites decreases the liklihood of that happening. Not saying thats definitely what it is but it makes logical sense to me.

    4. Lastly like I said before show where theyre screaming racial epithet. Ive yet to see a racislly motivated attack where racial epithet wasnt being said before during and/or after an attack.

I think its racist that in your mind you boil it down to a racial attack just because they wee black and he was white.

Your victim mentality has to die eventually. By do you insist on continuing this at all?

Its not victim mentality. Its just being aware of how you debate. No matter what historical evidence I offer your respinse will be the same. Blacks havent had it that bad so they need to suck it up and get over it. Stop being victims. Youre unreasonable fam. Your logic is all that matters. So I will agree with you where I actually agree and leave the rest alone.

You're one to talk, Andrae. May I remind you that out of everyone on the forums you come off as the person who loves to argue for the sake of arguing. And here are the following:

    - Contradicting scenarios when it favors YOUR worldview when there's a bigger picture.

    - Criticizing certain demographics of women because their select preferences altered over the course of time.

    - Relishing over the attention you have here because you seemingly can't get that outside or offline.

    - Your illogical claims makes sense in your little world, but reality speaks otherwise, especially in theological debates.

All these and more is basically a reminder of "Look who's calling the kettle black." See, kid? I can point out the numerous flaws in your character too.

And for the record, I never said that blacks back in the day haven't had it that bad. I'm aware of that history, more so than you ever will, Selective Reasoning Primate. But the victimization complex isn't helping us either. The conversation about race should be a starter, but the accomplishments and deeds should be where it ends. You can't expect society to become 100% accepting over time since discrimination of all forms will continue.

Strive to be the best. With the opportunities we have now, better to take advantage of it, instead of constructing a Boogeyman that's based on your own conscientious fears.

Sorry that you're more stubborn than Donkey Kong, but this is reality and we have to face it without creating more chaos within ourselves.

Meh. Long and short of it, be the person black or white. We all have the right to exist. We get so caught up on colour or circumstance and we forget the here and now. I'm proud to say that I'm witnessing a generation of don't cares. Love one another for you .<3

Exactly. Every new generation evolves in thought, despite a few bad apples or influences.

    Exactly, thank goodness for that.

I would rather be around a black/white/whichever person that knows how to conduct themselves with respect than someone who does not.

and YET, it pales in comparison to what Africans in America went through and are still going through to some degree today.

You really should stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

I won't lie that long term, blacks are still discriminated against, but to deny that there have been other forms of hatred and discriminatory practices is ridiculous. Stop playing the victim. You need not grab any crusty white balls to sniff out freedom.
