Never said I did but... never mind. Forgot how these debates always go. You're right. The kids were racist and black people see red when we see whites. Got it.

I would go out and drive you nuts, but I'd rather keep it as it is.

I bet all of these punks that attacked and robbed this poor guy all come from broken homes and probably dont even know their own fathers.

And after looking at the video again I do think race played a part in the attack. They saw some out of place white boy and decided it would be fun to fuck him up & rob his ass.

As soon as you're of age to know the difference between Right and Wrong, you're accountable for your own actions. Hard times or not. I can sympathize with people who get caught up, but the real blame rests with the individual.

IMO the victim being White played at least 90% into his being jumped.

Just because Black people aren't really empowered enough to implement institutional racism, we are still capable of committing hate crimes.

There was a glee I saw in those chumps kicking that White kid's ass which I doubt you would see if he were Black.

    Based on what exactly?

Other than he was white and they were black where are you guys getting the racial context from. This exactly why we can't move past this race shit. If the first assumption is it happened because they are different from me how can we get over it. They were thugs who would have done that shit to plenty of other out of placers. You think they would give him a pass simply cause he was black? Because black on black crime never happens right.... wait :smt017

False equivelancy. That would suggest that we view and treat each other the same way and that's not the case brother. I wish it were but its not. A group of white men harassing anyone of a different race or ethnicity are usually doing motivated by hate. When blacks usually do it to whites its usually a robbery of some sort. Not saying its right either way but ignoring the context in which things happen creates a false sense of the facts and if we don't have them straight we can never heal this thing. We have to be truthful in our telling of the facts in order to fix the problem or it will never stop.

I don't see this as a black and white thing. I see it as a common sense thing. Common sense is the closest thing humans have to super powers. With common sense you can keep yourself safe and win any battle. For instance, common sense would dictate that you should avoid loud and belligerent drunks as they are unpredictable.

That obviously happened in a city so common sense would dictate, if a woman is drunk and rubbing on you while a bunch of men hover around you it may be a diversion to rob you. Common Sense would dictate that you should stay around a safe crowd and possibly travel in numbers in an unknown territory.

I could go on and on, but my point is there is a reason why women avoid certain places and often go out to the club in numbers. It's not just to avoid losers, but to avoid rape, robbery, and murder. I do not feel sorry for a grown man getting his ass beat because he lacked the common sense to exit a bad situation. I have seen this happen "black vs. black", "white vs. white", "asian vs. asian", and any other mix or variation you can think of. There is a reason why each Krav Maga class explains common sense avoidance of bad situations before they even start training you.

You cannot move past the "race shit" when it suits YOU.

How was he an out-of-placer? The man was standing there minding his business and they walked passed and came back and circled him. Did you even observe the surroundings? It looked like it was downtown, and a party or club just let out. He's standing in front of a huge architectural columned building and 2 post-office boxes. A huge neon NAT BANK sign is across the street. What appears to be a police-cruiser is parked on the corner. How is he out of place? He wasn't...watch the video - there were other non -acquainted black man within feet of him on blue..why didn't those men circle him?
What was it about a man smoking a cigarette in a crappy green t-shirt and jeans make these men think rolling him was more lucrative than the BM near him?
They knew exactly why they felt comfortable to intimidate and approach him.

You're the first person to scream when you think people don't see RACE, except when it involves a WP as the victim. Your self righteous song and dance is wearing thin.

    Dark Knight,
GQ Brother, Big Brother Wise, Bliss and now Andreboba all make cogent arguments that trumpet accountability and personal responsibility.......but as bright as you are, you are not buying any of it........ You seem to have a counter, an excuse and an explanation for all and any black-folk short comings and and mis-behavior....My bother, I think you like arguing for the sake of arguing......You like going against conventional thinking and being controversial........Where-as everybody else's original reaction was outrage at what they saw.....your reaction was a casual "so what does race have to do with it" .....In an interracial atmosphere with supposedly interracial objectives,... Do you have be that blindsided in your blackness with some of the positions you take??...come-on fam......If you hook-up and marry a white woman, her male relatives will become your extended family....It will probably benefit you more to try to understand and co-exist with them rather than continue to perceive them as your enemy......

Go fuck yourself with your racially insensitive dismissive bs. He looked like a clean cut mark. His body language screamed shook but they did it because he was white. Either show proof or shut the fuck up.

How is stripping this man of his CLOTHING "a plain ol' robbery"? It was done to further humiliate. How is laughing in his face over and over..a robbery? Since when do robbers laugh?

Sorry mate, everyone is not monolithic in the way they view others. Just like I can not speak for or EXCUSE a racist WP's behavior, you can not speak for or EXCUSE a racist BP's behavior.

Being a racist is NOT innate - racism is learned and no one is exempt or protected from that possibility.

That was my point, not everyone is the same... I'm from the Black P. Stones (Jungles) in Los Angeles, California.

My dilemma with your comments were more based on the fact your avoidance of being politically correct was classifying everyone from the hood. Where I'm from even if you did manage to make it out in to Corp America you still have respect for the goons.

Your right, it doesn't change the the heart of the issue... its still a fucked up thing to happen to anyone regardless of the race of the parties involved.
