unfortunately, they're coming out there too. In philly, some of the suburban areas which were very nice back in the day, are becoming shitty. Black youths did a flash mob in one of the areas I was looking at moving to, not too long ago. You have to move way out from the city if you really want to get that suburban life, because anywhere closer and those mothafuckas will roll deep as hell on some crowded bus shit.

I am willing to do that. That's why I drive. I live 30 minutes from the Bronx and 45 minutes from the LES where my chick lives(she actually lives next to the projects ironically) and I thank God for it. Who wants to live in a place where there is constant violence?

oddly enough..the better apartments with the soundproofing and all that, are waaaaaaay out in secluded areas with limited accessibility via public transit. of course, the shitty apartments are accessible by any fucking bus...and the really good apartments that are located in easily accessible areas like Center City, are like 1200-2000/month easily.

Center City has some good stuff for 1200-1400 a month, and ur in the middle of everything. You get the security, the rooftop pool, the fitness center..all that..

if you split it with someone..its not bad at all. If you don't mind tying up more blow-dough on your own (start using the bus and forgo a car), it's not bad either. You could also get a house for that amount..so...

ive desperately been looking for apartments with good sound proofing, but they aren't cheap or close. It's like these wacky fuckers built 90 percent of the apartments, with the cheapest amount of resources they could.
