Right. If you think how often that possibility can arise, for example in a civil unrest /protest, or mistaken identity, false-accusations, etc. Convictions (felony) I understand, but it's too complicated and biased to make employment judgment calls on arrests. (I feel the same about checking people's credit). I read a big bru-hah-ha on I think Pepsi, who stopped hiring anyone who'd been arrested. I commented on Yahoo that Pepi better then fire/not hire any actresses/actors athletes who've been ARRESTED, who plug their product. (of course, if you keep getting arrested and having the charges reduced in plea-bargains like they often do in Philly, that's different. Maybe a "have you ever been arrested more that 3 times?" is more reasonable).
Totally agree with you on all counts, well maybe credit in terms of financial management counts. I wouldn't invest my money with a firm who had money managers who were tens of thousand in debt and/or had a low credit rating but in certain jobs its fucking dumb. One of my friends lost out on a good pharma job because of that shit and it was due to identity theft. A family member took out almost 80k in debt under her name and now her credit reflects that. Its grossly unfair and just keeps employment and advancement to the few lucky enough to be in positions where they don't need loans to make it through life.
Most states allow if you commit crimes as a child and then when you turn 18 you can petition to have it removed from your record, providing you followed the courts recomendation. No one will ever know. That's saying she turns around and stays out of trouble. If she offends over and over without every showing remorse or changed habits she will have a hard time convincing them she shouldn't have a record.
A simple ass beating should put her back in check. Arrest her? Meh.....not sure, but would have no problem if she did get arrested.
Arch, I don't want to subscribe to that, because my mom and the majority of the women in my family have been a lifelong example to the contrary. I think it's more indicative of coming from a combative culture/background, regardless of race. I've seen 'hoosier' women and urban Latinas fighting just as much as black urban women. Quite possibly she was also playing the sport but might be from a background that is unfamiliar with soccer, how it's played, tackles, etc. It wouldn't be the first time that differences in cultural norms combined with ignorance and frustration led to violence. It was disgusting, but if she had tried that with a redneck girl, she would've gotten more than a talking-to by the ref.
Or it can be what it is at the surface a teenager that lost their temper. It happens on the regular. They are extra emotional at that age.
Yes. At this age group.....college scholarships are on the line.....every showing counts.........tensions are high.........I think people need to back off off her myself.....most kids make mistakes........and they aren't broadcast for all to see on youtube and hater site. Damn....... Even kids with good parents fuck up Archman.
For tripping over her own feet?? No, it doesn't happen on the regular in a casual game of school soccer. Yanking an innocent girl to the ground by her hair and holding her down by her hair while on her back and punching her 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 -6 -7 -8 -9 times....is faaar beyond the excuses you make for her violence. I'd love to see you be on the receiving end of 9 blows and then see you say, "meh, dude, you're just being extra emotional".
I have been on both ends. Thats why I made the comment. That wasnt that bad Ive seen and been in all out fights over losing a pick up game or someone embarassing me during a game and talking shit about it. It does happen often at that age. Hell I remember Elton Brand dunked on one of my boys in a pick up game and dude was ready to call thr goon dquad. Did you play sports in the states as a teenager?
No, I played them in Australia. Heavily, and we didn't fight like that. Especially foul like that. Elton dunking on your boy isn't your boy missing the ring and then wanting to call his goons on Elton because he missed the ring. Elton embarrassed your boy - this chick embarrassed herself. That's not a fighter's mentality - that's an unstable mentality.
Like I said it doesn't happen in every game but often enough that I don't see this as a big deal. Suspend or kick her out for the season and call it day. Unstable would have been her going to the car for a burner or stepping to that chick after the game but it looked like an over reacted emotional situation
Use your head, you educationally challenge simpleton.........What whitewomen will listen to your advice about nigga Archman when he is already on the blackwomens shit bus, as you say.........When and if you can ever convince whitewomen to steer clear of me, I'll be ready pay you..........
I stand corrected..she punched her 11 times. "It happens often enough", seriously? You are about the only person in denial on this, not curiously though. When you have an expert soccer coach completely disagreeing with you to the extent of her aggressiveness, I'll take their assessment as the astute one. Not to mention 99% of the people from all backgrounds commenting online and IRL feel the same way..and not your way.
What we saw was one person getting dominated ina fight thats why it looks so bad. The fact they were girls is whats making the difference. And probably the reason she got eleven punches in. Had that been two guys it would have broken up sooner because people anticipate that or other teammates would have jumped in. Im sure the racial spin sells her being animal as well. I look at them as two athletes in a scuffle and one happen to be more dominate.
