Sometimes it feels like an episode of Jerry Springer and Ricki Lake every time controversial subject matter reels it's ugly head. I remember that vividly goodlove. Hell, I was smack dab in the big one that resulted in some changes...

Hahaha, well...I sort of exposed certain people on here for being a little too antagonistic and created a boogeywoman in the form of "La Negra".

So you saw none of the overtly racist over tones to the majority of the things that he posted that pretty much everyone else saw?

And on me calling you a troll, it was done due to your purposely going out of your way to be annoying when you knew there was no reason to be. And "no" I don't believe you are a troll, just very young and too exuberant in wanting too express yourself and wanting to be part of things and be excepted.

Yes, that is the point of joining a forum, but when people start insulting and degrading people rather than opinions, that's going beyond interesting interaction and stimulating discussion. I never posted in the "When you joined, what was your story" thread because I took heat almost immediately as being suspect because I became interested in BM later in life. My story was not looked at favorably, what little I shared of it at the time, so I never shared how and why I came to be on here. That just shouldn't happen. In the short time I've been here, I've seen some decent people run off this board because they came here with questions or stories that were provocative but probably honest and were never given a chance.

I have learned alot on here, but I can't say much of it has been helpful or good. :(

The primary purpose of this forum should be to answer legitimate questions and help those interested in getting involved in or are already involved WW/BM relationships as well as share common experiences or differences they may have encountered IMO. Unfortunately we have and get people who see this site as anything but, seeing it as only another place on the internet to just hang. End result is what we currently have going on with the site. People who may have legit reasons to come and participate don't and people who just want to do whatever for shits and giggles seem to do just that.

I remember feeling sorry for a young lady (I think it was Avia) who is or was dating a BM and she came on here hoping to find some advice for hair products for her bf. She wasn't viewed favorably, but she hung in there and eventually, one of the guys took her seriously and posted some products. I was angry at first: she had a genuine question and came here for advice and dang near got run off the board. Thankfully, she stuck around and I'm glad somebody finally helped her out.

I remember that because people had forgotten she was Austrian and English wasn't her first language and that is why she might have asked in an odd phrasing.

Some people are clearly bad the the git go and some people are not. She was quite pleasant.

Not only that, but the whole "good hair" thing came into play. People thought she had a problem with his hair, when in reality, she was looking for advice on his behalf. I never knew it was bad to mention "good hair" around BM (or women). Sometimes, it's just ignorance on the part of well-meaning people. We just don't always know, seeing as how we're white. :smt102

Some of us are old enough to be your mom. I get why you don't relate. You're not supposed to! That's the way things work. But you do seem more mature than most 20 yr-old men I know!! For that I give you props. :D
