I agree that the comparisons some are trying make are wack, but so are your hostile attitude, the insults & the accusations toward the ladies on here. Not every white person is a racist, & the majority of the ladies here have nothing but love, appreciation & respect for black men. You may not realize it, but some of your posts make you come across as someone who can't stand white folks, including white women. People understand a person being passionate about a topic, but it's unnecessary to be so harsh to get your point across. I don't know where you got that silly shit, because no one has even said any such thing. The overly sensitive one is you, otherwise you wouldn't resort to the childish insults rather than something to actually back up your statements when you disagree with someone's POV. Yes it is. Exactly. Regan was the worst president for a lot of people. :smt045
Yeah for the top one percent and all the wanna be one percenters who don't realize how fucked they are. Can you help me out by giving examples of how he was the greatest president even of our life times?
fuck the poor, the middle class, the hungry if u dont give those executives what they want, you can hit the road my way or the highway, jack!
Now you know damn well he's not going to be able to do that. And any examples he would give is going to be through the rose colored lens of a one percenter /wanna be one percenter anyway.
so true and so sad. The only thing I could give Reagan is his work to end the cold war but coupled with a failing USSR economy even that's a stretch.
My only issue with Reagan was his escalation on the war on drugs. But I cant really fault him since almost every president was basically like that(with their drug policies). Reagan did a lot of good. Lowered taxes, expanded the economy, reduced peoples' reliance on the government and helped in stopping the Cold War. (my parents are huge fans of Reagan as well and found had lots of success during his Presidency) And just out of curiousity but why do you guys like Obama so much anyways? Is it cause he's black? He hasn't really done shit other than getting more folks on foodstamps lol
Obama putting people on food stamps. Lol What parallel universe do you live in anyway? The ECONOMY did this thing where it CRaShEd like as in no mas! That was in direct proportion to the policies that the GB/DC regime put into place which was a further extention of ALL the bullshit Reagan started in the first damn place. Obamam inherited a fucked beyond belief country in his first year. He still has us afloat despite the teabaggers best efforts to sink the whole shit howdy because or president is black. I hope I'm dead before I see a female prez. With their nasty track record the far right would probably just wipe the UsA off the damn map.
These kind of things don't even surprise me any longer. Its reached a point where nothing surprises me any longer around this subject matter. I just stopped discussing politics with people cold turkey, because some folks are going off the deep end in their behavior around Obama. Ironically he will likely be in office for another 4 years so we will only see more of this low class vitriolic filth spewed whether the reason is based on his race, political policy or both.
Personally right now I would describe myself as someone who is apolitical, but originally I identified myself with some tenants of the Republican party. However more and more starting with the invasion of Iraq when they placed Colin Powell, a respected 5-Star General, before the U.N. to make absurd claims about drones and hidden chemical weapons I have realized this brand of the Republican Party today has veered off course. The party I see today cannot be identified with anything that I once respected about Republican tenets. It seems to have been overtaken with warmongers, religious zealots and good old fashioned bigots. They seem still intent on fighting battles about Women and Civil Rights, issues this nation has long moved on from. If you want to see why I no longer could consider myself a Republican look at the leading candidates they have to put forth for the presidency. Speaks volumes. Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, are you kidding me. Clown school 101. Not one of those jokers will realistically be able to defeat Obama, because they are beyond out of touch. As awful and hideous a President as Obama is they claim, why can't they even put forth a candidate who could legitimately challenge him in 2012. That is the state of the Republican Party today, out of touch indeed.
[/QUOTE] Bwhahaha you're using THAT as an example?!:smt043 Everyone with half a brain knows that "The Road We've Travled" is a bullshit leftwing propaganda film (bought, paid and made by Democratic donors). There are so many half truths & flat out lies in that garbage video.
We're still waiting for you to give us a reasonable & rational example why anyone presently should vote for a Republican candidate other than the "Romney's Rich" mantra you've supplied so far..
Therein lies the problem with the party today. Its clear to everyone from the primaries even Southern Republicans don't care for Mitt Romney and he is the Republican frontrunner so that says it all. I mean the candidates typify the term unimpressive in every which way and they seem patently out of touch with where America is today.
You get that and you're someone who says he at one time saw things from a Republican prism, so please help Brother Iggy out. He clearly is seeing something the rest of us are apparently missing.
