Working in Finance I haven't run into many Black Women (not to say that there aren't any). The few I have run into give me the preverbial, "Are you with me or against me" test. I have also run into the same from other Black Men. But, the funny thing is... I Have Run Into This With Every Other Race and Gender Too. Finance, or well, business in general is cut throat. And as we all have associates, you rarely if ever find actual friends. It doesn't have to be a bw, bm, wm, ww, or whomever. But, if you do well and move up quickly it doesn't matter the race or ethnic background. Someone is gunning for you.

    Working against black men?

It all stems from a lack.

A lack of love or self respect or self worth.

If you know who you are and what your purpose is then you are able to help the humans, not be a hindrance. When people stop looking at other people as "the enemy" then a dialog is opened to work forward.

Not really. You have to keep in mind that people in life ultimately look out for themselves or their own interest (whether it's because they have a family to provide for or a high level of ambition). So, in the end you have to do what's best for you without being overly concerned about the other guy ( I said OVERLY CONCERNED... concern in certain situations is perfectly fine). That is most jobs. Even in Healthcare you can run into this. You also have to keep in mind that some of this comes from the divisions of schools (Private vs. State, Ivy vs. Everyone Else) and many other factors. You can run into that in the healthcare industry. CNA vs. LPN vs. RN vs. PA vs. NP vs..... you get the idea.

No, they have. There was a user called Lil Lilly that was banned and had her posts erased. She was a white female from Wisconsin who joined on here. I would say the presence of white females bashing white men here is rare, but it still happens here.

Sorry, but I dont think Lil Lilly was white or female.

I don't either. She was just a plain troublemaker.

Mikey, I question the wisdom of you giving a troll kudos like that. No regular posters who have proven themself have gone off on that tangent so why would you give credence to a shit stirring troublemaker who came in clearly to post only that bull. Think before you post. Many times you can save the typing strokes. :smt017

Why do we need to? I think most of us here CHOOSE to be with BM because we find them more attractive and appealing than WM. We don't default to them because of a dislike for WM.

It was only one who claimed that she was white, female and also younger than I am. Her profile said that she was 18 years old. Maybe I could have teached her to change her ways through skype or e-mailing. And as you stated before, we (teenagers) are naive, arrogant and immature, so yes generally we screw up. As we get older, we learn to better ourselves.

Was that reply worth it, or should I have saved "the typing strokes"?

Hmmm. That's the second time he's used a troll to make a point he wanted to about what he sees/thinks the regular posters do wrong here. He did the same thing with Johnson K-8 and how everyone here was getting on him about expressing his views on WM & BW, but Mikey somehow never caught any of the overt racial hatred that everyone else obviously caught. Why does he seemed so focused on what the regulars do and not trolls when they show up?

Ra, don't worry about it. I'm trying to get over a 3.0 GPA in school. It's a Saturday night and I just finished studying at home a few hours ago for tests/exams next week. I'm on here because it's the weekend anyway.

I'm not worried about it. Just wondering why you seem to have a bug up your butt about regular posters and what they do and not trolls, especially since you claim to not log on here enough to know what goes on here on a regular basis to know what's what anyway.........

I'm more familiar with the regular posters, I understand the way they are.

Other people are here have the authority to handle the trolls, so when I do see it, I just click on my mouse, get a brief look at their profile, then just sign off.
