As for Rush, I actually dont take Rush seriously. I put him in the same regard as Bill Maher.
And speaking of which, Maher has verbally attacked conservative women a lot (calling Palin a "cunt" among other things). Where is the outrage there? And Maher just recently donated 1 million dollars to Obama. Gee, hypocritical much?

Which shows you've only gathered your information from yesterday's articles on the whole matter. Again, big distinction between Rush and Bill. Rush's program talks solely about politics and the current events on hand. Very political oriented and prominent politicians actually go to him to help reach their right-winged base.

Bill Maher, on the other hand, comedian is his role, pretty much like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, but more so the latter since Stewart has been less about comedy and actually confronted the people that irked the shit out of him. Maher's a comedian, but also somebody that talk about politics mainly. And yes, Maher donated money to the Obama campaign, so what? So did Rush, and Limbaugh was even invited to the CPAC conferences and other conservative sessions. Maher does stand up.
