I am not surprised that you would come to the rescue considering your insensitivity to racial slurs and how they affect people. If you enjoy her generalizations, racist stereotyping and feel that it isn't trolling then that is your opinion and you are welcome to it. If you recall, the conversation where you all but called me a racist (do you understand the meaning of the word?) had to do with another member using a foul word to describe a woman. It was highly offensive to me (and others, as I found out later). He felt justified in using the term. I SARCASTICALLY asked him when the use of a word he finds offensive would be justified. My point (which obviously escaped you), is that it's NOT.

My memory is not flawed. It was in regards to you saying that the C word is the same as the N word. I remember quite well, and it hasn't changed. I don't presume to know how you feel nor do I care. I know what bigoted views you hold on racial slurs and how you attempted to defend your belief by marginalizing racial slurs especially one so big. You are entitled to your views and ignorance. I defended my right to be offended by the word used, yes I did. The OP said the other word was more offensive because of the history and context. So here's my point: What if MY history and context included a very negative use of the C word? What if I had an abusive father who called me that? I'm not allowed to be offended?? If you want to turn the whole thing around and make it that I'm racially insensitive, that's on you. Because that was not my intent.

Offensive is offensive. And THAT was my whole point from the beginning of that discussion. If you want to argue that one is more weighty than the other, argue it with someone else.
