Only thing I was focused on was the amount of young beautiful ww who are into black guys. It's definitely a new day my friends. That poor girl grew up in a cult she hasn't be exposed enough to the world to understand what blackface is. She did what a little kid would do if they had to pretend to be someone else. Depict them in the most literal way possible.
but you know it HAS to be because of this and HAS to be because of that or fuckers will curl up in a corner and rock back and forth :smt022 lol
These shows are scripted. I remember the Real World DC and Emily never struck me as the sheltered, conservative girl they tried to portray her as. I never bought what they were trying to sell. Generally on these reality shows, brothers and white girls mix, but there's always a hidden message: They'll hook up but not seriously date and the relationship will be dysfunctional. In another video that shows the whole clip in context, initially in the bathroom as they're preparing Emily asks "you sure this isn't racist?" Now if she was clueless, why would she ask this? At the end of the day, I blame MTV. They've already gotten more buzz off this plot point than for anything else in the entire season. They know racism sells.
I actually watch this crap (yeah I admit it) She is only into black guys from what I know and had no clue what blackface was to begin with. Like TDK said, she was very sheltered growing up so I give her a pass. Ty needs to hit that again cause she is definitely more attractive than Paula lol
Don't front you know you'd take them both kid lol. I thought Paula was your type. Blonde and stacked.
screw all this sheltered bullshit.....the same internet where she learned about the real world and filled out an application is the same place she could have found out about blackface.....because i doubt this was the first time she did something stupid.
I don't watch the show but I saw a clip on Huffpost. As they are smearing it on her face she asks the other one is this racist. So I think she had a clue. I am sure the producers encourage all kinds of bad behavior just for ratings. It was probably scripted.
exactly....granted if you grow up in a sheltered home, you are going to have a limited worldview, but from all accounts in this thread this girl predominately dated black. i don't watch the show either, but i sure she has faced prejudice so its hard for me to believe she knew nothing about it.
Dude come on. I've dated white girls my entire life and the subject of black face has never once come up. Why would it? Truthfully the race thing rarely comes up at all if we make it past the first couple months(I understand general curiosity if you've never been exposed before). She gets a pass in my book mainly because she prefers bm and she could pretty much have whoever she wants.
maybe not blackface but you are telling me if she has dated black men consistently that she has seen never seen prejudice, especially from her family if she was so sheltered. but i find hard to believe when she has had ir relationships she never was faced with situations like this....maybe no one said anything and she never learned. but to me that's the thing.....the whole point of dating someone different is you learn things and get a better awareness. i've been dating a jewish girl and sometimes we have these issues but it makes our relationship better. idon't care how cute she is,wrong is wrong.
Haha touche. But in this case I would go with the other chick. Better face, attitude and doesn't seem like a huge whore lol. Paula seems like she has hooked up with a lot of guys
