In that particular situation I'm not sure just seems like a wrong place wrong time kind of thing. But then again I don't know how fancy that place really was since there was a corner store near a gated community. But it can just be some really bad luck. Makes me realize how lucky I was to make it home every time I went to party in those areas but then again I was with several white people never alone. So it could have been a different story had I been alone.

Looks like there are some twists and turns in the case.

The police said Zimmerman had a squeaky clean record but WFTV has since uncovered Zimmerman’s criminal record, which includes a 2005 arrest for resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer. The case was ultimately dismissed

The official police report says Zimmerman had earlier called to police to alert them of a “suspicious person in the area” and was told not to pursue. He complained that “They always get away,” before continuing his pursuit.

With that new bit of info out there it still seems like he is gonna get away with it because the Sanford Police Chief says "We don’t have anything to dispute his claim of self defense at this point with the evidence,"

 

Nothing to dispute his claim? He followed the victim, he approached the victim, and the victim had no weapon. How the fuck can it be self defense? Oh wait I forgot he's black and male he's a threat by birth. Smfh

 

I bet if Zimmerman gets popped, the shooter will be arrested and charged before the radio call goes out over police radio even if it was in the shooter's self defense unless the shooter is Zimmerman...... :smt071
