True other presidents before Obama have been made fun of, but even people who have disagree with policies & ideas of the other presidents before, especially others in positions of power, still had enough decorum to respect the office of the president and what it stood for and did not go to the unprecedented links that have been seen at insulting and disrespecting Obama. And what's the one big obvious thing that sets Obama apart from all the other presidents before him. That's not mere coincidence at play......

Billy Clint did something stupid while in office so rightful he would get clowned for what he did, but what exactly has Obama done that has gained him the level of hate and disrespect he has gotten since BEFORE he was even elected?

I think alot of people believed they would see more from him than he has delivered. There were many people (myself included) who crossed over party lines and voted for him, probably more so than in any election in recent history. The right-wing conservatives lost the last election so they sat back and said "Ok, show us what you can do Mr. Prez." In their minds, he hasn't done what he's promised. (And it could be because they watch Fox News who, in a "fair and balanced" way, has convinced them that he's done diddly squat.)

Look, I like Obama too. All I'm saying is that no matter who is in office, there will be people who don't like him/her. Jokes will abound, many of them in very poor taste. I have the feeling if a woman becomes POTUS, there would be plenty of things being said simply because she's a woman. I'm not saying what the judge did should be excused, only that he didn't intend for it to become a public matter.

I get where you're coming from, but what I think most of us are seeing is the amount of & ever continuing insult and disrespect that Obama has gotten as a whole, and we know the only difference between Obama and other presidents of the past is his race. Being a federal judge you would expect that he would have better judgement and not put out something even in jest that would call into question his character & decision making skills like this if it ever got out. And it did.

I guess it's just a sign of the times though considering how many people in positions of power or attempting to gain such positions within the last decade (maybe longer) have been caught doing ignorant shit that they should have known not to be doing that calls into question whether or not they should even be in such positions.

Sadly, I think we can say that about alot of things happening today. As a nation, we have been in a downward spiral morally, spiritually and economically for awhile now.

How is closing the Department of Education and forcing public schools to compete in the free market 'good for Blacks'??

Government programs that benefit the economically disadvantaged are more than just subsidized housing and food stamps. Federal grants and loans earmarked for job training, vocational skills education, tax relief and minimum wage....ROn Paul is against most if not all of these benefits.

Paul believes if slavery still existed, it would be unconstitutional for the Federal government to dictate to a state government whether or not this practice was illegal.

Ron Paul is the crazy lovable uncle who believes in private that women shouldn't be allowed to work outside the home.

If you support Ron Paul, know EVERYTHING he believes, not the most popular ideas.

I wish I knew what it was fundamentally that Obama's loudest critics wish he had done instead to boost the economy.

I feel like people hate on BHO simply because he was elected.
He doesn't get credit for shit.

Ron Paul is a racist. Pure and simple.
Sure he is distancing himself from all that mess because it's expedient to do so.

He would do nothing to move the country forward and he would particularly be a huge disaster for women, minorities, and especially black people.

They also implied and joked Hillary was a "carpet-munching dyke", and Chelsea was a beast.

He also thinks in so many words, we deserved 911. And that we have no business telling Iran what to do with their nukes.

Everything is 'totally different" in your view. Different doesn't make it any less insulting.

Actually it does but like I said you wouldn't get it. One insult is based on percieved physical appearence the other a dehumanizing remark but since your people's history isn't rooted in dehuminazation for the purpose of persecution you won't get it. You're the kind of person who would argue cracker is the same as the n bomb

What are you talking about, again?? How is Andreaboba's comment about bestiality and being a slut more worse than being called a promiscuous carpet-munching dyke and calling the POTUS's child a beast, because YOU think it is? Are you pulling a drama queen fit again because sweetie, you don't get dibs on feelings, even though with your privileged sheltered upbringing, you somehow think you are entitled to be more offended.

My people's history?? Persecution? What does persecution have to do with this rude email? Why praytell do you want to go into the world history of persecutions of people amongst the human race? I mean you can if you like, but to be frank, I've heard enough murderous horror stories from my great-relatives about the unremitting debasement, exploitation and enslavement of the Greeks under the Ottoman Empire...maybe you can talk to them. :smt069

 Not this victimization nonsense again.

An insult is an insult and it's meant to dehumanize the other person. But in the end, if the person allows that thought to dig into the human psyche, then you're basically agreeing with that said comment. Doesn't matter if you're called a honky, nigger, dyke, or what have you. They are all equally insulting, yet only if you allow the word to get to you.

It has nothing to do with what I allow as much as it has to do with that kind of thinking is what leads to the persecution of an entire people. When the Nazis started calling the Jews gypsy rats you think it was as simple as ignoring it and moving on with their lives? Its used as a tactic in order to seperate and isolate a smaller segment of the population so that when they are in fact persecuted they are seen as them. So I respectfully disagree that an insult is not an insult. Words like nigger are used to demean and seperate black people from the bigger American culture so that we are seen as part of them not the us. And notice how that joke about him barking is yet another attempt to equate interracial relationships on the same level as interspecies beastiality. So sorry to me its not the same at all. It has nothing to do with victimhood just calling a spade a spade.
Dude I know it may come across as though I am splitting hairs but I spend four years of my life studying the political agendas served by these kind os tactics. Its all very deliberate and methodical

Not calling dibs just pointing out again your dismissive attitude towards the shit black people have had to deal with and still deal with but like I said before if you personally don't have to feel it or its not your personally legacy why should you care right?
