To be fair a lot of their gear is influenced by urban hip hop. You can see it from the sneakers to the way they wear their hats and all the graphic tees. When I was growing up all the guidos wore fitted muscle shirts and figaro chains.

 

Right, but that was 20 some years ago and things change.

I mean women used to wear a god awful style of hair called the bee-hive. We don't anymore (im currently sporting laced engish braids on both sides) and I wouldn't even if it came back into style.

I hope you find consolation in the fact that the people on Jersey Shore are morons and in no way reflective of normal, intelligent humanity. So the idea that they may look down on a population of Americans is laughable since it's pretty hard to look down when they (JS cast) are already deep in the gutter.

Besides, none of them will ever hold a candle to what you're already accomplishing TDK. Not that you needed my encouragement, but I'm just sharing my opinion.

 

If you are 30 then you did your growing up (from small kine kid times) more than 12 years ago..unless you mean by "growing up" you did some significant growth in your 18th year.

Thanks a lot Athena. Truth be told it just makes me chuckle at this point. The only thing that urkes me is they make millions making asses and whores of themselves and kids unfortunately think that's the road to success. There's nothing interesting about any of those kids other than they get drunk and fuck everything.

Btw when did you say you were leaving the area again? I just got an email about the Loving Day Festival in NYC this year. You would love it. Nothing but interracial couples and families coming together celebrating the fact that they actually be together in this country legally.

I agree that it's irksome that they get paid money to do what they are doing. It's a sad reflection on our culture.

 

Its officially June 12th but its usually celebrated the following Sunday if it doesn't fall on the Sunday. I try to keep everyone posted on here about it. It's a great festival. I always found it interesting that the first legally recognized IR couple in the US had the name Loving. Fate? lol

How old are these people? Because this sounds like what happened in my high school with just about every student there. None of them are millionares or very famous though.
