Kobe Bryant showed why he is still the premier basketball player in the NBA when he passed Michael Jordan as the all-time scoring leader in NBA All-Star Game history. Do you agree?

    He's still good, yes.

but his ability to make incredibly difficult shots is his biggest weakness; he doesn't seem to know when to stop taking them. :smt012

With the way he's playing, it will be feast or famine with the Lakers, because Kobe is a streaky scorer. Shit, he can make it a whole of easier on himself, because they have the bigs.

    Black Mamba, son!!!

But for real, though. It's funny. When Kobe does fall off, people are gonna say shit like "oh, Kobe ain't so good anymore, is he?", as if he or anyone else said he was some superhuman that would never some down from his peak, as every other human player has and will.

    Black Mamba, son!!!

I disagree. Look at how the east was stacked. Several good players on the team. You can't ball hog like that as compared to the west. If lebron was on the west and kobe was on the east, You would have saw the same results. What perplexes me is the east losing.

Stop lying about you've seen EVERY game Kobe has played since 2004.lol:smt104
Even the most diehard Lakers fans can't say that.

Kobe may be a ball hog/self player who shoots too much, but he's still clutch and a lockdown defender, or was for most of his career.

He's not hype. But he IS overhyped.

There really is no comparison between him and Jordan and the only people who make one are those who never saw MJ playing in his prime.

This is actually accurate; he didn't deserve his last few defensive awards, as he clearly isn't a lockdown defender anymore.

Oh, he will, even if it takes 3056329058392058923 shots to get there. :smt081

and Lebron's legacy will always be considered tainted by many, because he's playing with another alpha perimeter player

he will need every bit of a dominant performance in the finals to silence the critics. I understand he looks to make the best decision in clutch time, but he can't disappear like he did last year

I love how people use stats when comparing players when the only stat that matters is the number of championships won. For Kobe Bean Bryant, that's five motherfuckers. Jordan had a great career but his time is over, so sit back and enjoy what Kobe will continue to do until the day he retires.

    Bill Cartwright has 3 championships.

That's as many as Patrick Ewing, David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon combined.

Also consider Kobe started playing in NBA right out of High School, Jordan didn't come into the league until after his junior season at NC. At the end of his career, Kobe will have far more career games than Jordan. Not to mention that Kobe rode Shaqs dick to 3 of his championships.

The Lakers wouldn't have even made it out of the western conference against Tim Duncan, Chris Webber or that ridiculously deep Blazers team without Kobe Bryant on the team. I know because I sat in the stands of Staples watching it unfold before my eyes. By the time they made it to the Finals and played some chump ass eastern team (Nets, Sixers), ignorant viewers thought that the Lakers were just Shaq and a bunch of players on his back. Nope.
