Posting these somewhat in memory of the artist, Chuck Baird, that recently died after a long battle with cancer.

    One of my favorites:

(No more oppression. The signs are "Oppress no more finish" with oppress being the central sign).

Oops...my bad. I guess you won't be going to any carnivals soon either, huh? :p

They are pretty scary, but that's what i like about 'em.

Thanks, BD. That's what I thought of when I saw them, too. I also thought of It by Stephen King...the clown they had in the movie (& the movie itself) sucked.

These are great, Nicole, especially the sunset & the no more oppression. :D

LOL Yeah I remember "It". The movie was a little slow for my taste, but I will admit when I was a kid that clown scared the hell out of me. Especially the part with the clown in the sewer when it grabbed and pulled down the little kid who lost his toy boat.:)

I've read the book several times, & my imagination did a much better job than they did with the movie. The clown in my head was completely different & much scarier. Yeah, old Pennywise grabbing George & dragging him into the sewer was pretty scary.

lol Shout out to the imagination. You had the clown all made up in your head and the movie came along and messed it all up for you.lmao Bet you wished you never watched it huh?:)

The imagination is where it's at, lol. If the movie had been any good it might have messed it up, but thankfully that wasn't the case. I couldn't get into the movie at all. They tend to screw up all of Stephen King's books in some way when they turn them into movies...another one that comes to mind is Misery...Kathy Bates was a horrible choice for playing Annie.

I thought Misery was pretty good with Kathy Bate, but I didn't read the book. So im just going by on what I saw. I found a Stephen King book lying around the house called "Rose Madder" from what I read so far it seems like a very interesting book. Is there a SK book turned movie you did like?

Rosa Madder is a good story. I like the way his twisted mind works. I do like some of the movies based on his stuff...

The Shining, Children of the Corn, Stand By Me, The Running Man, The Shawshank Redemption, & The Green Mile. Others are alright but not as good as the books.

I loved all those movies(my favorites was The Shining and Children of the Corn). I didn't even know "The Running Man" was by Stephen King. Thanks for letting me know that. SK is definitely the man.:)

You're welcome. The Running Man was one of the books he wrote as Richard Bachman. ;)
