Is there anyone you're not prejudiced against?

Christianity is based on love, & hate has no part in it...hate cancels out love. Christians are supposed to follow Christ's example to love everyone, even those considered enemies. God loves those who don't know Him or believe in Him just like He does those who do. Christians are also supposed to pray for their enemies as well.

Then get to praying. It's wrong to hate someone just because someone hates you...it makes you no different from those who hate you.

Those who hated Christ wanted to kill him for nothing, but He loved them enough to willingly sacrifice Himself for them in spite of that. He made it clear that persecution goes with the territory & that many will hate Christians the same way they hated Him.

Here is a song by psquare that they sang Igbo briefly.

They are Igbo, not Yoruba. Although, the language May D used in part, on the song is Yoruba.Yoruba's are mostly Christians, but a sizable number are Muslims and animists. Muslims and the Christians tend to co-exist among the Yorubas.

The flashpoints in Nigeria where you normally have religious crisis is the northern part of the country. It is where the Hausa- Fulani's are the dominant ethnic group. Historically, they have ties with the Arabs through trade and slavery, unlike their southern counterparts, the dominant ethnic groups down south, the Igbos and the Yorubas.

It is a complicated history. I wish I could shed more light sometime. It appears you have never lived in Nigeria.:)

I am glad you would have an opportunity to test out your beliefs, hopefully in December. But right now, I doubt there is anything that I can write that would make any difference.

Have a good day, my friend.

The music is a mixture of Nigerian English, Igbo and Yoruba languages. Life if you asked me is really about living it to the fullest and reaching across ethnic or racial divides. It is more than living in our narrow confines, I think. There is more creativity in diversity.
