They pick and choose who they want to prosecute. Besides, Brady brings in huge dollars for the patriots and the NFL in general. He can do whatever he wants and they won't try to bring charges

You don't think it's highly suspicious he mentioned the words "illegal Super Bowl website" at his major NFL press-conference on SB Media Day? Which then suddenly spurs a Fed take-down? I'm calling bull. It was orchestrated and timed by both the NFL and the FBI.

    Holy crap!

It's established that the CIA run this country - they are exempt from anything they do - unlike even the President.

So this is very, very brave of Anonymous to do this...and very, very humiliating for the CIA. Either Annon will now be busted right open for doing this..or quietly hired by the CIA.

2 stories, both with interesting facts...

Well truth is, we have all been compromised. I have gotten at least 2-3 letters from companies telling me my information "may" have been exposed. Most recent - Zappos.com. While I hadn't ever shopped with them, I had shopped their apparent subsidiary, 6am Shoes..and they got millions of our emails, home addys, paswords, last 4 digs of cc...I felt helpless and am in fact, pretty powerless do do anything really.
But there's plenty more victims as we know...eg: Citibank, Sony, Best Buy, Apple, Sears, Microsoft - you name it...chances are your info has been compromised.

this happened with Sony's Playstation network

everyone's info and passwords were exposed, and Sony ended up taking the network offline for about a straight week.

pirating is one thing but this is another

Yep...I remember the Sony one...so many people's info exposed.

But I wonder...do these hackers actually take the info and do anything, or is it some kind of macabre hacker bragging-rights, or e-notch in their belt?

Though I have heard that they'll withdraw like only $1 or $2 from millions of bank accounts - so little to notice, and that's how they steal huge collective loots.

well yeah if I had exceptional genius with hacking, i would spend more time robbing banks than doing this shit. If I'm going to get raided by the FBI or Mossad, it's going to be over money, not for some juvenile nonsense such as taking down a website.

True- my only exception is where I read Annon telling NAMBLA "we're coming after you next!" :smt023

well to be honest, so many countries have differing legal ages, instead of there being one globally-established standard. Going from one country where 16 was legal, to a country where 18 or 19 is, can make things difficult. To vilify someone over that shows anger, compassion, and general love for children, but it also shows a certain level of ignorance and narrow mindedness.

But I guess a law is a law. I won't be smoking weed until it's legal, but I probably would if i were in Amsterdam

    When in Rome.................
