Is football worth it

    kudos for that statement. There is football and then there is running or gymnastics. very different expectations

    Seriously it's absorbing

    the fact that so many schools bend the rules for these guys, says it all

    in the long run tho, it just hurts the kids who miss put on learning

    once in a while you get bright ones who play football and compete at the highest academic levels for Rhodes scholarships...but they're the exception

    look up how many of these scholarship athletes drop out of college

    LOL. no doubt but if you are a scholar then you wouldnt be for long in football because of all the head injuries. you will become a veggie

    there are scholars who love football, but they usually aren't that good and play for the ivy league

    the quality of football is much lower, but that's because their focus is more academic. Ivy doesn't give out football scholarships either.

    If you want to be a veggie, play in the sec where those guys hit like trains
