Australia Some of my Kenyan friends who reside in the US went to Australia for the Rugby Sevens and from what they are saying it's a wonderful place to live in if you can get a good job. There are also very many beautiful women. They made videos which I found interesting.
Definitely. For me I have always wanted to go to Australia and this trip was godsend, but unfortunately for me I could not break away from work commitments.
No. For me it was an eye opener. As I said before I have always wanted to visit Australia, and there visit reinforced my good impression of the place. The flight is very long from the US. If I was to go there I would plan my visit to coincide with my visit to Kenya. The flight from Kenya to Australia is not as long.
How long is the flight from Nairobi to Australia? From the West coast the flight to Australia should be at least 14.5 hrs. Any flight that is more than 8 hours starts becoming unbearable to me. At least with 8 hours I can imagine myself at the plantation and flying is slightly better, lol.
You can't take a direct flight (unless you go to Western Australia, I think), so you'll have two flights to get here. You can go via Thailand (Nairobi - Bangkok roughly 9hrs, then Bangkok - Sydney roughly 9hrs), or you can go via Dubai and that's 5hrs, plus about 14.5hrs. You can also go through South Africa, but I don't know how long that is. I"m sure there are other variations on the flight path, but it's all going to be around the same time wise...give or take an hour or so. Like I said...it's a bloody long flight. I'd recommend going via Dubai on Emirates. They're my favourite airline, by far, and I enjoy that flight more. Although going via Thailand breaks up the time better.
very true. the time and expense to leave a country as beautiful and wonderful of ours is really nothing, compared to how lucky we truly are
