I feel sorry for people who think a different eye color makes them more attractive.

Most of the girls I've ever been with have had brown/hazel colored eyes, of all races. I don't have anything negative against green or blue eyed folks, but damn your EYE COLOR wasn't the reason why you didn't get that girl or pick up some guy.

Where do you all potentially rate cosmetic eye surgery to change one's eye color with other plastic surgery procedures??

Equivalent of a boob job?? Liposuction?? Butt enhancement?? Dyeing one's hair??

Maybe because the concept is so new, as of right now changing one's eye color is just the height of phony to me.

I've even told females that before we go out, lose those colored contacts or it's not happening.:vom:

Yup, the almighty dollar speaks loudest, I predict as soon as this procedure is approved here in the States, it will be de rigueur before we know it.

I can't see the point. You can temp change things with contacts it you feel a need. Are people so bored or have too much money that this is all they can think to do with it? They need to turn towards others who actually have needs.

Sad but oh so true. The 'next big thing' almost always manages to be more outrageous than the insanity that came before it.

If you are happy with yourself you don't want to change silly things like eye colour. If you're not happy with yourself, changing your eye colour won't fix it.

I would have thought eye colour was something people cared least about in terms of physical attractiveness.

lippy is still debating corrective eye surgery...i have worn contacts/glasses since grade school...any kind of eye surgery scares me if there is even the slightest chance of losing sight:cool:

Precisely. What about that song? "Beautiful beautiful brown eyes... I'll never love blue eyes again..."

There's nothing quite as sweet as some big brown eyes looking at you in love - makes you melt.

I have brown eyes, so I'm a bit partial... but when I see black men with contacts, I immediately pass them off as shady. I told a black man once that I would never wear colored contacts because it would be betraying "my people" (all of the brown-haired/ brown-eyed girls in the world... and I am not ashamed of my eye color, nor should he be of his...

He thought I was trippin'... he wanted to look "different". But in the end he just looked like a cheap con-man who is all about appearances (and insecurity in his blackness, which I do not like in a man). A man wearing colored contacts seems a little "down-low" to me.

I agree. Will I do this, fuck no. It can't be any worse than the other shit people do. Example: [IMG]

The last thing I would want is anyone prodding around in my eyes.

Folks need to learn to be happy with their working body parts and let it be.

If someone wants it more power to them, but don't be crying foul if your eyes have any issues down the line.

LOL, there are actual black men you ran across doing that, dudes like that would get straight clowned by other black men for such nonsense as a black man. I've never encountered a brotha with fake colored contacts.

You're right it just doesn't look too kosher as far as their mindset.

I always thought the whole colored contact thing was something women did.
