yup it's an art of patience and timing...think he could learn a lot from it that or yoga..yoga's probably cheaper and safer part of the relaxation of bjj comes from leaving everything at the gym by the time you get home to your family, the last thing on your mind is explosive tempers
seriously before bjj, i used to have a little bit of a chip on my shoulder afterwards, I was more serene and friendly with everyone around me, at work and beyond. Everyone noticed a difference in my attitude. I spend lots of time playing back previous matches in my head and remembering everything that happened during class and such. From grabbing the kimono of a 300+lb guy and sweeping him from the top of me, onto his ass; to toughening up and sparring with a guy, that kicked my ass and sent me home with cuts and bruises the day before. Stuff like that keeps me at peace because it releases a lot of built-up energy and tension. plus it's like the ultimate chess match...and that in itself is pretty fun and entertaining.
it's made for guys like you actually smaller, slimmer guys who don't rely on out-muscling opponents it's all about momentum and technique the 300+lb guy i rolled with was much heavier than me (215lb), but by getting him off-balance and using his own momentum, i was able to sweep him onto his back. From there it's all about leverage. need more proof? look up Royce Gracie and some of his absolute-division (no weight class) wins. He's like 170 going up against guys twice his size, and choking them out.
Cool. I'm 6'0", 195lbs, so I can't be tangling with those musclebound dudes. I'll check it out. I seem to remember some fight of his from like 10 years ago where he used gravity and his legs and choked some guy out while upside down holding the guy's arm or something crazy like that.
you're supposed to...that's what the art is there for im stronger and more of a gymrat than plenty of guys i train with, but because they actually know more about the art than I do, they're able to put me in positions that effectively half or completely kill my athleticism. And if you rely on strength alone, you'll just end up gassing out. It's like the more strength you use to get out of a bad position, the closer you are to getting tapped out.
I think he means when BM talk about racism it comes across as the angry BM. Im not sure that was the case with seal and hiedi
Heidi Klum has filed for divorce from Seal Heidi Klum has just filed for divorce from Seal ... TMZ has learned. Heidi cites "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce petition, filed in L.A. County Superior Court. According to the docs filed by Heidi's lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, the couple signed a post-nup -- meaning they made an agreement after they got hitched to separate their assets. As a result, sources say there is no community property to be divided. Heidi is asking for joint legal custody of their 4 kids, but she wants primary physical custody ... with Seal getting visitation rights. Heidi is asking the judge to restore her maiden name -- that would be Klum, although she always used it professionally. Heidi, who is worth a fortune, is asking the judge to reject any claim for spousal support by either her or Seal. And she wants Seal to pay his lawyer's fees. She'd gladly pay Wasser herself. http://www.tmz.com/2012/0...heidi-klum-seal-divorce/
That Bodyguard reminds me of that guy in White Chicks at the beginning of the movie who was only selling ice cream. That's a goofy looking motherfucker.
Like I've said before there is usually something wrong in the marriage BEFORE someone cheats. The cheating follows the something wrong.....a person just doesn't wake up and say today I am going to cheat. Heidi hasn't spoken but I thought highly of them both keeping it out of the media.......now not so much so.
