LOL @ the thread, of course there are exceptions but an underlying tone is generally found in such folks. Hence the utter ignorance they often eschew.

Even when blacks were at their lowest during Jim Crow it was often poor whites that held the greatest contempt for them.

Look at the two states historically synonymous with deeply entrenched racism in the South

Alabama and Mississippi, places that represented the heart of the fight against Jim Crow during the Civil Rights era.

These states are historically and currently remain some of the poorest in the Union. Even to this day there are parts of Mississippi that remain ignorant as ever on the issue of race, as though time has stood still.

Another thing I find odd, hilarious and ironic, you have places where these white racists groups congregate, such as Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, etc. These places have a minuscule black population, don't think too many Jews live there either, yet these kind of groups exist there as though their beliefs have any effect, those places are pretty whitebread so beats me what they are screaming "White Power" about in Helena, Cheyenne and Boise, etc.

If their beef is with the Native Americans in those places, well they came and met those folks there so figure that one out. We know the history of what happened to the Native Americans. Maybe they begrudge the burgeoning Hispanic population in those places, who knows or cares frankly. Trying to decipher racists is pretty useless because of the ignorance of it.
