R.I.P. to him, he was indeed a legendary coach for PSU.

He made a gross error in judgement, wittingly or unwittingly in not handling the Sandusky sexual abuse claims with the proper expediency it merited.

It has clearly tarnished his legend in that he had the power to see someone like Sandusky held accountable much earlier of the abuse allegations.

He went to his grave knowing that that was a stain on his reputation after decades of coaching young men.

 

I seriously don't get why the same outrage is applied to the raping of boys as it is to girls. Do we have an underlying feeling as if boys deserve or they're not as helpless as girls or is it because Sandusky raped young black males? I feel genuine hate for both those men. Sandusky for doing what he did and Joe Pa for letting it happen for years and the absolute only reason he showed remorse is because his ass got caught.

 

I don't get it TDK. This dude getting positive props. I just can't give it to him. His negative over shadowed that. Ok,,, raw and uncut. This dude knew and did nothing while little boys were fucked/ fingered in the ass, had their little dicks pulled on/ sucked, made to suck/ pull on dicks and whatever the hell else those sick fucks had in mind. i'm disgusted over these events, but that doesn't take away the fact that many lives were touched in a positive way by Joe Pa. I think the amount of good he's done over the years for the campus, for his players...for everything, has trumped the bad that happened over this short decade.

We as an adults have few moral responsibilities but nothing more absolute than the protection of children. I don't give a fuck how many championships he won or how many scholarships he gave out he turned a blind eye to the most disgusting of acts to protect someone who clearly needed help. Smdh
