you are a dumb ass because what you are saying is making my argument. he built a course so he can practice and be with his kids at the sametime.

he could have the kids right there next to him putting and they COULD have a club doing the same. how do you know? who are you to say what is quality time and isnt?

Oh good, we're up to 10 million. Lucky Elin. :smt109
C'mon Terra...if she said no, he'd be hysterical wondering what details will be in her autobiography, lol.

You forget she has kids. Tiger wants his kids to live in nice digs and wants their mom happy. Tiger hasn't bitched about the settlement that we have no clue was...so why are you? If it turns out to be 20 million, will you feel/sleep better?

Don't know if you have kids or not, but I am a father so you do not need to condescend to tell me that kids know when a parent is engaged or not. Did it ever occur to you that maybe his kids love golf just as much as he does, so it is indeed very fun for them as well? That is the case with many kids and their dads. Hmm, you don't seem to understand the game of golf at all nor practice regiments. We will have to agree to disagree whether or not spending time on the course is indeed quality time.

I have given you proof that the best golfer in history practiced with his child, it does not matter if he was splitting time or not, that is at least in part how he chose to spend his quality time with his kids and it still was effective practice. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but as a non-golfer (assuming you are) and understanding little about the game, it is not a very educated opinion. Bottom line, playtime with the kids can indeed be very effective practice and quality time.

my comment about my ex taking the kids to the office is about how my kids feel about their time with their dad being eaten away by his work and him not playing with them. can be applied to tiger. if he, like most arrangments, only had his kids every second weekend, why wouldn't or couldn't he not practice for 2 days and spend those 2 days playing with his children?

I guess a baseball player cant play catch with his son according to her or show him a slider or take him to one of his games

Aaand we come full redundant circle, because naturally, I'm getting the typical late posts from you. Go back 15 posts and START TO READ!. I am saying I DON'T THINK IT IS QUALITY, because Tiger's logic is oxymoronic. Why cut practice time for them, but then build a full golf facility so you can SPEND your kid's custody TIME and COMBINE IT WITH YOUR PRACTICE TIME??

    I swear...

ask tiger. like I stated he may use golf to connect with his kids...like most dads toss the pigskin around with other boys

The kids can live in the lap of luxury when they are with Tiger, and who knows what their relationship is like now that they are divorced, he may not care at all about her happiness, and just because Tiger has not complained in public about his settlement does not mean he is happy about it. I am willing to bet if you sacrificed the majority of your youth and lived with incredible pressure to perform your whole life, you might resent giving up a significant amount of your earnings for a 4.5 year marriage.

Again, you are welcome to your opinion, but practicing with the kids can indeed be great quality time for all involved, kids tend to love the same activities that their dads love, especially when they are spending time together doing it.

exactly, this game is noncontact so its safe and there is a lot of exercise for the kids. the man have to talk to the kids about how to swing and what not...kids will remember that

And we also KNOW, so does TIGER, because you said he said so. No one is denying that TIME is spent with the child...the issue from the inception of you challenging me is the word QUALITY.

And the fact that Jack is the BEST golfer IN HISTORY and chose to spend his time with his child on the course speaks VOLUMES! Next time, don't quote me the parent, quote me the child.

Tarsh, a the PGA level, especially during the season, pros *have* to practice every day to stay sharp, the line between winning a tournament and missing the cut is razor thin at that level.

Well to quote the child, Jackie, the one mentioned in the passage I quoted went on to earn his PGA tour card and played for a few seasons on tour, looks like that *quality* time with dad as a kid payed off.
