There are exceptions but for me personally most female comics don't cut it. Outside of shows like 30 Rock women rarely carry an entire scene.

She's 48 btw and while that's not old to me that's someone old to me because they're old enough to be my mom and for all intents and purposes guys in our age bracket don't usually go that route. Menopause is right arounf the corner and part of attraction for guys my age is fertility.

Well that's relative. There are some women in my gym who are in their 40s who are somewhat appealing but for me at 30 hotness pretty much starts!at 21 and ends at 32 on average. Age does matter to me for so many reasons but mostly because most women can't keep it together in their mid 30s and beyond. Having children and lack of time kill that. So what may not be hot to me may be hot to mmen 20 years my senior.

Outside of the fat chcik from Brides maids I found no one else funny and the same gies for the rest of these women. I think most men in that 18 to 44 demo would agree. As far as I know most men don't find women funny. I've yet to hear a guy rave about a female driven comedy and even when they have funny females with exception of Liz Lemon they usually have to take on male characteristics to be funny ie the fat chick in Brides maids.

I got that her post wasn't meant to be insulting but Appiah did point out how it could be and that's annoying as hell because something that wasn't meant to be insulting could easily be twisted and if enough people complain or the right person (she knows who she is) complains it results in an infranction. That's just not fair. And it seems to only happen to men. Seems like its only a foul if a woman says so.

48 years is not old?! Being hot at an advanced age does not take away the fact that at 48 you are not a spring chicken. That is the reason why there is MILF phenomenon where middle aged soccermoms dressing as teenagers because they are hot dont want to embrace their advanced age.

But that's the point. If it doesn't specifically break any rules the amount of people reporting it shouldn't be relevant. It boils down to simple popularity contests then. As long as you're disliked by enough people you're always at a disadvantage since it has to do with the frequency of complaints and not the actual violation. That post could easily been seen as Ches making a snap at Trixie's age which from my recent restriction is a supposed big no no one here.

Even if a post is reported, Webbie still has final discretion as to whether it is an offense of not. If 10 people flagged you but you've keep it decent/non- vitriolic and within the general limits of TOS, you're not going on restriction. In fact, I've seen Webbie judiciously step in a thread and deny multiple requests to "ban' someone.

Furthermore, the REALITY is only one person saw it one way, and 4 others saw it the complete opposite. If Appiah complained, Webbie will investigate it. It's actually that simple.
