I am tired of people making this comment when a white guy made the movie.

    lmao

fine...white chicks was still downright appalling

fact remains if a white guy made a movie called 'Nappy Headed Hoes,' (shout-out to Don Imus..RIP fool) shit would be Hiroshima in this mothafucka

    pffft puffing it up.

If that person really had issues, they should have voiced it just like black people. They didn't so....

More like because white people don't have to worry because in the end there are going to be countless movies each year which portray them in a positive and ideal light. Unlike "minorities" who get tossed a few bones and thus place all their hopes into the limited movies released that are about them.

Exactly. And I'll add Woody Harrelson in the film was still able to play an interesting, three dimensional character whose love life was put in the spotlight (unlike Wesley's). If some studio wants to do a film with a title called "Black Guys Drown" it won't bother me a bit as long as the film is good and the black character is complex and gets the leading man treatment. I'll take that in a heartbeat.

As for 'White Girls", that's indefensible and has always been so. But I expect nothing less (or greater) from a Wayans film.

TV is generally stereotypes regardless of (fill in group here), and it don't bother me. This is a far cry from the "me Tarzan," or the "Sleep n' Eat" days. That level bothers me a little but it's not the end of the world to me.

On a way more important, and pressing issue regarding the show I must say that  Max  (Kat Dennings) is way sexier than Caroline (Beth Behrs).

Am I the only one who thought White Chicks was freakin' hilarious? OMG Terry Crews was the best in that. Everytime I hear that song A thousand miles, I crack up laughing.

whites were never enslaved for 400 years and were not victims to racist jim crow policies for 50 years and treated with benign neglect for the last 50 years....

As far as the sitcom the thread is about, I don't know if it's racist or not. After watching the first lame episode, I never bothered watching that crap again.

The shows creator used the excuse that, because he is gay he has the right to be offensive. Now if that isn't the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard as an excuse for being racially insensitive, then I don't know what is.

I don't give a fuck if they both get discriminated against. Race and Sexuality are not even remotely the same thing. So gay people don't get a pass on being racist.

My issue is with how people lump Gay issues and Race issues together, when it's convenient for them. As in the case of this TV show producer, who wants to hide behind some fake "oppressed people solidarity shield" to excuse his racist show.
