I did a search (for the umpteenth time) on 'everyday black men' and nothing that you say popped up, it was mostly SHOES. That was on Google, Yahoo was even worse.

Lol not you Sin it was meant for Ches. I remember when she typed that word i asked her what it was and there was an eerie silence from her. I checked what it was and lets just say it is a description of the physical appearance of a person hence the reason i asked that question.

Eerie silence? I read that on the fly and figured you could Google it. A Weeble Wobble is a toy. And I didn't judge him merely on his appearance. I had been talking to him on the phone, met him realized he lied to me and the cumulative effect turned me off. He wasn't at all as he described himself.

You're right. I guess I'm (once again) not making my point very well. I would simply say that if what I view in the "hot guy" thread is the only thing I find acceptable and I believe that everyone else should find only that acceptable, would you not consider me shallow? Outward appearance certainly does count in that initial attraction stage. But if little else figures into what makes a person acceptable or not, to me that is shallow.

I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions as to what they find attractive. When it comes to building a relationship, I believe most intelligent, reasonable, people want more than just a pretty face, that being said, if that initial spark of attraction is not there from the beginning, most people wont pursue a romantic relationship.

    Just an FYI

Maybe searching the keyword 'everyday Black men' is not the best way to find "everyday black men", especially when pictures of "everyday black men" can be found on various social networking sites, even better are the sites where black men post personal ads. I wonder where those could be :smt115

Much of the time, but not always. Some times, people become more attractive as you get ro know them. I prefer tall men with a little extra padding. But I wouldn't instantly write off a shorter, slimmer man, or a heavier man if something else appealed to me about him. Maybe he has an infectious laugh, or carries himself in a sexy way or is really happy and friendly. Body type isn't always the determining factor in whether I find a man attractive.

And once again, IT GOES BOTH WAYS. There are tons of men out there that are obsessed with the scale as well.

I know a lot of couples who didn't go in looking for someone/relationship. They ended up in one with someone they got to know in other ways besides physical attraction. They were friends first and then it progressed.

By looks they might be considered mismatched but in intellect and such they are a perfect fit. In that case one doesn't have an expectation or preconceived notion of what their partner should or should not look like. Someone they wouldn't have considered across a bar, turned out to be a fit. They likely would not have pursued that person in a typical dating meetup situation where your first cue is looks.

Obviously that is not the only search I've done. Hello. The point is that regular searches on search engines for pic of "women" and "men" pulls vastly different amount of pictures.

Why should I have to go on social networking sites and dating sites to find a pic of a regular bm, that's a little too much, geez. Most dating sites require you to register to search anyhow. So women should just register on a gazzillion dating and social networking sites to get pictures? Besides, I find that a bit creepy.

Or you could look in our picture threads at the images of our very own wwbm.com regular guys. :)

Easy on the I's, that post was meant for more than just you.

If you want pics of regular dudes those would be a few of the places. The hits on that keyword is just part of the sillier point raised that women should be searching for or posting ordinary men in the first place. All the models, movie and porn stars are people. Amateur is still a niche, and I imagine straight Black male amateurs a small one (northside probably has the market cornered on here).

If you want to start taking pictures of random Black guys in the street, go ahead, I don't think they would mind. :p

That is what search words we were told to use to find pics of ordinary bm. Try it. You will see it produces nothing. So until someone shows a google search as you can do with women then finding pics online ISN'T as easy as you have it.

Well if you search 'black men', you will get pictures of black men.

if you search 'everyday black men', you get this:

I can only speak for myself, but when I want pictures of white women, I don't do a keyword search "white women" and I damn sure don't do a search "ordinary white women". LOL

I have a type, and go to sites for that type. All are models or celebrities. I would say most men have a bookmark, virtual or mental of what they want. Iggy's point about what women post in the lockerroom was silly anyway. Why even go there with him?

Like I said, I have done a gazzillion different searches. Also, I didnt respond to Iggy. Im not sure if you meant Appaiah.. Yes, I agree w that statement and I dont care about that one bit because it is silly.

I only used the term "everyday black men" as that is the term Appaiah claimed he used to get a lot of pictures of all sorts of black men.

I am only trying to make a point what the difference is looking for pictures of men vs women.
