4north, there are men who are fit and workout regularly yet do not necessarily have a 6pac. To have a 6pac you need to work on that part of the body intensely and some just do enough to mantain a flat belly and not intensive enough for a ripped 6 or 8 pac. Men do not get overly emotional when they dont have a 6pac. I think if you are mentally strong as a woman you wont be bothered by the images in fashion magazines to the point to having an eating disorder. I just did an internet search on pics of everyday black men and up popped pics of brothers of all shapes and sizes so this excuse of i can't find pics of average black men who are not gay is getting old and that goes for women who say they cant find pics of fat men as well.
Jack Black isn't a sex symbol. Geezuz, that's just gross. :smt078 :smt078 But only my opinion of course and I am president of the "Jack Black should be eaten alive by rabid meerkats", club. We hates Jack Black....we hates him, yessssssssssssss. :smt042:smt042
I just did a search the other day using different terms for bigger men and came up with more pix of big women than men. If you can find pix of bigger guys (not ripped, not fat, just some extra padding), by all means, help us out. There's a bigger guy thread that's crying out for pix.
I just googled everyday black men......it brought up Kobe.....Michael Jordan and uhhh..........this.....
Poking fun is different than being worried that your partner will ditch you or lose interest in you if you gain weight. Which was my point from the get-go. There are women out there who are obsessed with the scale. I know some of them.
You do know that if that was a fat white woman who was mentioned as a sex symbol instead of a fat white man and a guy like TDK had said that was gross and all the things you typed some of you ladies would descend on him and webmaster would receive tons of reports right? Secondly did you say you wont find average black men who are attractive on the net hence the decision to post movie stars and models in your locker room as a defense for ladies not being shallow?
I grudgingly have to admit you're right. Personally, Jack Black isn't my idea of a sex symbol, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's gross. As for the second part of your post, speaking for myself, I don't think I'm shallow at all. I like to look at pix of gorgeous and cut guys, but that's not what I prefer. The one thing my last partner disliked about himself was his belly. But that endeared him to me. One of the things I miss most is lying next to him with my arm wrapped around his belly. Besides, there's alot more to a man than what he looks like on the outside,
No. But if outward appearance is the only or biggest criteria for judging whether a woman is acceptable, then yes.
Not sure I understand your reasoning, when you first meet someone and don't know anything about them, physical appearance is all a person has to go on. Everyone has their "type" and it is not shallow to discriminate if a person does not meet that type.
"You ladies" is not me. I'd say, 'everyone is different and has a different opinion of what is attractive, which entitles individuals to feel negatively towards someone of a certain type". I'd only get pissy if they started saying the person she/he was with could do better. As for the bolded bit. No.
LOL A what? Good gods, no. What the hell is a weeble wobbler? I've never even seen that typed (or heard it said) before. Cracks me up that that's in someone's vocab though. :smt043
