Why don't you take notes, Iggy, instead of making Swirl out to be a pansy. Dang.

Notes for what? How to keep a middle aged woman happy? Have you seen Iggy's girl dude is ok

Notes on how to be a class act. Pay attention instead of throwing out yet another dig.

I couldn't care less what Iggy's girl "looks like." What that has anything to do with anything is beyond me.

Save your insults for someone else, TDK. I may attack your opinions, but only once have I ever attacked you, and I apologized. I am rarely passive aggressive with you. If I have a beef, I will call you out by name. Stop reading your name into posts where I didn't write it. If I mean you, specifically, I will let you know.

Lol whatever you say Vic. Swirl is my idea of people pleaser but hey to each his own I have no problem with the man. I brought up Iggy's girl because apparently he doesn't need to pay attention since he's doing ok in that department. You pay attention.

FG, I could be wrong, but I believe Steve Williams, his old caddy, has said repeatedly that he knew absolutely nothing of the affairs as he and Tiger did not hang out a lot off the course.

Tiger is 100% to blame for his actions and has paid a heavy price as it relates to his family, the PGA tour, net worth, public perception and reputation. He said something I found to be very interesting in one of the few interviews he did on the subject. He said he felt that he "deserved" to be able to not play by the rules, have his cake and eat it too if you will, because he sacrificed so much of his youth/life fueling and working on his singular obsession to be the best golfer in history. Interesting if not twisted insight into the mindset of a pro athlete, that I think is prevalent in many high achieving people, "the rules should not apply to me".

You just can't resist. Someone draws a line in the sand and you have to flop your big, fat foot right over it.

Interesting. You really can't blame them though. They're treated like they're special their entire lives its not far fetched for them to eventually believe it.

Wow. That is telling. As his kids grow I wonder if he will feel he deserved it. He will miss the day to day. I think everyone has lost in this whole situation. Him, Elin and mostly the kids. People act like its a game of tennis and someone is going to be declared the winner. :(

What happens between him and the mother should have no bearing on his relationship with the kids. Hate me all you want but I should be allowed to see my kids when I want.

I'm not sure that I'd refuse the opportunity as I often get manicures, pedicures and massages as well.

That's laughable as anyone who reads my posts has seen that I've supported what I believe, always, and it's never about gender, it's about what makes sense to me. I've had differing points of view with male and female posters, and I've even agreed with you on a couple of your posts. The problem is that you seem to come up on the short end, always, when you try to engage me where we've differing points of view. However, I understand that it smarts a bit for a guy with your ego, lol. But, carry on with your ideas, my friend.

Btw, that comment about Iggy's girlfriend seems totally misplaced in this discussion?? I thought this thread was about Tiger and Erin?

Ches is forevering trying to" educate" the younger men on how we should be and I pointed out iggy's chick was to illustrate her advice isn't needed since most of us have no problem meeting women.

I AM???? I ask for people to have respect and quit the name calling and degradation and that's "educating the younger men?"

Just because you have a chick doesn't make you a classy guy.

You do realize this whole mess was started because I complimented Swirl. Things have sunk to a new low when you can't compliment another member without getting flak from somebody else.

And this right here is why I don't like you at all. You complimented and threw back handed slap by saying the other men could learn from him. Maybe you've been a victim so long you no longer recognize passive aggression. Whatever I better take my own advice. No need for us to speak anymore.

    Damn

@swirl; women like men that take care of themselves. I speak from experience but you probably know already. We expect them to look beautiful and in return they expect clean hands and toes. I especially keep my feet together, as people give you the stink eye if they're paired to roll with you while you have athletes foot or mangled nails

I advised IGGY (not "other men") to take notes on what a classy guy is AFTER he took a swipe at Swirl because of my compliment. No backhandedness or passive aggression there.

You're a piece of work, TDK.

You are waaaaay off base here Swirl. It is easily verifiable on pgatour.com to see that Tiger earned the overwhelming majority of his earnings and net worth before getting married. He also had the overwhelming majority of his sponsorships in place before getting married. The sponsors that left did so because they did not want to be seen as supporting infidelity in the eyes of their consumers, but already Tiger is replacing those sponsors and those that stuck with him, are being rewarded with his better play of late.

Also his lack of winning in the last 2 years is mostly due to the fact that he has been limited to only a handful of events due to injuries, not lack of peace of mind, his ability to block out the world and focus is one of his primary strengths.

Bottom line, In terms of net worth, getting married did not benefit tiger one bit.

I will say this much my uncle got married and dude is miserable as fuck with it.

I mentioned before how she was so sweet and nice to him when he was in the Navy, she was the lovely girlfriend, cook, clean, take care of the home, etc

He retired from the Navy and works with the Virginia Beach Sheriff's office, soon as he put a ring on it and she got a kid she became a living nightmare. She all of a sudden stopped doing the things she did prior to marriage.

Looks like he got straight trapped.

He calls my grandmother complaining how she is always argumentative, hits him first, tells him how half of everything is hers, mind you this is a man with a loaded weapon as a cop, if he flips out he might lose his mind and do something wrong.

She hangs their daughter over his head like the sword of Damocles, since its his only child.

Seeing what he is going through makes me wonder about what happens once folks marry.

The awful divorce numbers today would make folks very cynical, not to mention how many dudes I have heard complaining about the courts and what is in store for them. This shit can get downright scary if the marriage doesn't work out.
