i prefer to use the term voluptuous when describing my body. i saw a fashion consultant on the weekend and she called me hourglass.

i hate the terms fat and thick

Dude I was in Jamaica four months ago and not a single fat chick. There were some that were athletic but generally thinner slimmer women. None of the women in my family are fat either now that I think about it. Slim to average. I'm going to Costa Rica next month and Turks and Cacos in May so I'll let you know how the natives are there as well.

I'd say that both kim and khloe are thick but what we normally call thick on this board and in this country is usually obese brother.

Most white women I come across think the same way. I would consider you curvy an actually good body. Women like yourself Nicole LS and IB represent what I normally go for. My girl now is close to IB in body type.

Yeah they generally don't consume the same foods that are over here for starters, plus in those places you are always doing something because the weather is warm year round.

I kind of hate the fact that fast food joints are now showing up in Guyana (McDonalds and Burger King).

LOL the reason I left out Kim is she got the butt enhanced, if it was all natural I would have mentioned her along with Khloe. Haven't heard of any major alterations on Khloe to date though.

I've seen brothas fighting on Youtube over this. Some making videos saying leave those fat white women alone and some dudes respond saying fuck it I'm gonna do me.

Then of course you have the ubiquitous, dime a dozen, white male haters that can't stand a black man with a white woman and so goes into the sermon about black men and fat white women to soothe their egos.

Isn't that what the Victorian era concept of female beauty was thus the dresses that were fashionable at the time.

It was up until the whole Twiggy era came about

That the whole skinny is somehow normal and desirable came to be for women.

I see nothing sexy about Twiggy in that pic. Yuck.

Fair enough. I'm not suggesting women 100 pounds over weight is thick or attractive in the least.

It was more along the lines that I prefer women that are more bustier and have curvy hips to waist ratio.

    :D thanks pani

twiggy was needed to represent the other beautiful female body types out there. i think women are just beautiful across the board

Says who? Most top ten beautiful women list don't have twiggy chicks. I don't get where that's coming from fam

I think most men would agree with you. A lot of the women we grew up thinking were hot had boobs and round butts. Now thick means a girl who weighs more than you and that ain't sex at least not to me anyway.

You are taking it literally bro, obviously it wasn't women who looked like that, it was the notion of women being skinny to be desirable, that arose out of the era. The fashion magazines that catered to women, the social expectations and qualities that were desirable were transformed.

Before that point in time, those were not the notions of female beauty when it came to women's size in society. Mind you these concepts were for Western, white society.

Obviously women didn't strive to look like Twiggy, it was instead the beginning of the notion that women should be skinnier and shifted away from the older cultural notion of the hour glass figure of the Victorian era to a modern one of a narrower hip and butt a change in the waist to hips ratio.

These notions are constantly evolving in society. It never stays stagnant.

Oh my bad I missed your point. I think its getting way better since people are so much more focused on eating healthier instead of restricting calories which on its own keeps your body looking good especially with some old fashioned exercise
