Genetics? No, because twins share the same genetic make-up and while normally similar and raised in often identical environments, their personalities are still individualized. Even dogs can look identical through strict breeding, but their personality...the intricate details to it, their idiosyncrasies...that cannot be scientifically duplicated.
Personality my ass, all that a dog does is eat and shit. If you have 50 grand to throw away on getting Fluffy cloned, then go for it.
The funniest would be if she winds up with some "Cujo" like acting clone in that little dog. She should have probably just mourned her dog, bury it and gotten a new one with its own individual makeup. But her money, her choice.

There are dogs a plenty in shelters that would love a home and she is trying to bring one back. I understand loving and being attached but this it over the top.

Nightline also covered this...and TLC did a WHOLE documentary on her due to air next week. She originally was charged $100,000 but got a discount. She also just lost her job... Americans are trying to compete against them. crazy! edit: I bought a couple of games that I wish I didn't. Heck, some of them I never bothered to play. I just don't understand people and pets. You got to feed the pet. You got to clean after the pet. You have to bring it to an animal doctor. Too many bills incurring. Money that could have been better used by adopting a child. It is what it is. You work hard for the money and you get to use it. If I had that kind of money, I'd open up my own school.
